NPKP17So thankfulI am so thankful for recently discovering this podcast. It has helped make me feel less alone in my NPE journey. Thank you Eve, and thank you to every person on the podcast who has shared their story.

tabithahen10/10 recommendGreat podcast especially for those whoāve had a life altering DNA discovery. Eve is an empathetic and funny host. Iāve enjoyed listening to all of the guests unique experiences.

OverthinkingIt26Can we just be BFFsThis podcast makes me feel like Iām not crazy or mean. Eve and Sheridan talk about stuff most people avoid and somehow make it funny and stuff Iāve thought about being an NPE and then felt bad about. Iāve replayed a few parts because Sheridan says things that actually stick with you. Would love to find a therapist like one of them.

Cbaker71DanaJust listened to Danaās episode and just want to thank you both. Will definitely listen to all, and itās just comforting to know Iām not alone.

FNOMINLMe too. Andā¦ā¦I donāt mean the other kind of āme tooā! Iām an NPE. An only child. My daughter gifted me with 23andme. A āfirst cousinā reveal tipped me off. I NEEDED THIS PODCAST! Literally! Iāve felt so isolated and alone in this until now. Thank you for recognizing the need to provide an opportunity for people to share their story!

ashagerAmazing!Such a great podcast. Eve is not only funny but compassionate and easy to listen to!

allmynicknamechoicesaretakenGreat Relatable Human StoriesThe guests are so kind so share their stories. Itās helpful to listen and be able to relate. Overall a great show. I wish the host would not interrupt people so much. She tries so hard to be funny and relate to the guests that she ends up taking away from their stories by speaking over them. You can tell she is genuinely very kind and interested in what theyāre saying though so itās still nice to listen to.

music mama tinaAddicted to your podcastI have cried and rejoiced listening to your podcast while empathizing with you and your interviewees. I have an adopted nephew (heās always known) we are super close in age and I think of him as a little brother. I love when people say we look alike! I am always upset when families reject the MPE/NPE/Adoptee it breaks my heart! I think you are educating so many of us especially on the donor laws or lack of, hopefully hearts keep opening by listening to you & your guests!

Kim Rebel RyanLove it for the stories and the ads! Each and every story is interesting, I never get sick of listening to them. And, normally ads are unbearable, but the ads in this podcast have to be the worlds cutest, I laugh out loud and I would recommend this Podcast for Eveās kidās ads alone!

Betsy NPEWell done! Nuggets in each episode.I get some type of nugget of wisdom from each podcast of Eveās that I have listened to. She really puts her interviewees at ease and guides them to tell their stories. Their stories are very relatable and has given me much to think about in my own journey as a NPE.

KaitlynRoberts93NPE? This is for you.On 9/11/23, I had an NPE event. On one of my first days in the online NPE/DCP/LDA community, Everythingās Relative was recommended to me. I dove in headfirst and binged-listened to every. single. episode. Over the course of about 3 weeks, I laughed, gasped, and cried with Eve and her guests. Iāve found comfort, belonging, and a sense of clarity in the midst of what has been an absolutely world shattering personal event. Eve is a warm and inviting host, and I feel like Iām sitting in a living room with friends while listening to this. If youāre an NPE, I highly recommend this podcast. And even if you arenāt, this podcast is well worth a listen. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

jlovingerTerrific host, fascinating podcastEve Sturges is a therapist who had a mid-life discovery that the man she always thought was her father wasnāt actually her biological father. But instead of wallowing and spiraling, she wrote a book and started a podcast, diving into the world of donor sperm, secret adoptions, IVF, genealogy, and DNA test kits. I started out listening for the juicy stories and ended up learning a lot.

Foster Douglas (App Store)A good cryIām not a part of the NPE community, but the stories that Eve shares here are really so beautiful and complicated⦠and she presents them with such care, love, and sensitivity. It gives me a good cry, often. :)

CssgoIām not embarrassed anymore! This podcast has helped me to not feel the shame and embarrassment that I felt when I first found out. Thank you! I can openly talk about it and know that Iām not alone.
-
samdthoCome for the trauma, stay for the dramaThis show has taught me two things about parents: (1) they were not as faithful as you might have imagined and (2) they have a strong predilection for royally screwing up their children by denying that specific ārelationsā ever happened despite DNA evidence to the contrary.

HaavikoEve is great!Take the time to check this podcast out!
-

Just Being JillListen/Chat with ease...I found Eve a short time ago when I made my surprise discovery. I have been an avid listener ever since. Her personal story and experience in therapy makes her perfect for having a discussion with! She GET's IT! I also had the opportunity to tell my story and and I can't thank her enough for making me comfortable with her graceful guidance! You've got a FAN in me!

SilverTear8Everything IS RelativeEverything's Relative with Eve Sturges is an exceptional journey of self-discovery, truth, and the power of human connection at a time when it feels you are completely alone. Throughout each episode, Eve's genuine empathy, humor, and dedication to the MPE community is evident. Eve creates an intimate and safe space for listeners and storytellers to explore their feelings after a DNA discovery. Through shared stories and experiences, I have found solace in knowing that I am not alone in my journey. This podcast's thoughful discussions and thought-provoking questions have helped me navigate the emotional rollercoaster that has accompanied my own DNA discovery. I wholeheartedly recommend "Everything's Relative with Eve Sturges" to anyone experiencing a Non Paternal Event or Misattributed Paternity Event. This podcast is a testament to the power of storytelling and the potential for podcasts to profoundly impact lives.

LaurenD8Start from the beginningI really enjoy the podcast, but sometimes I find it difficult to follow and it jumps around in the personās story. I wish you would start from the beginning of their story and go from there.
-
profwigglebottomPlease donāt go!I love this podcast so much! Iām not an NPE but Iām estranged from my family and some of the stories I hear really hit home. And beyond that theyāre just amazing, important stories that need to be more widely known! And Eve is the best host

mkibsumFabulousI tell friends, who are into genealogy, all of the time about this podcast. I am not an NPE. I first heard about Eve on another one of my favorite podcasts, Depresh Mode with John Moe. After hearing her own NPE story and that she had a podcast, I began listening right away. Each story has its own amazing elements. Eve is a very warm and inviting host. I have a couple of NPE stories through cousins I have discovered while meeting cousins through Ancestry.com and 23 & me. I helped to find out who their birth father is. I would LOVE to be on Eveās podcast with these cousins someday.

Schwartzmanās Irish PubRelatively Awesome!!This podcast is fantastic. It explores the world of unexpected family relationships, DNA discoveries, adoption and other similar issues. Eve, the host is funny and a pleasure to listen to. She handles her guests with kindness and compassion. A great podcast.
-
LKayKasOKBut as an NPE, too (who else would listen?) I donāt need this edgy chick lit attitude. Grow up.
-
thegatheringplaceThe nitty gritty served with a dose of humorEveās light and airy personality is matched by her insatiable curiosity that leads her to the truth, and nothing but the truth. For me, as an adoptee from a closed file adoption of the 60ās baby scoop era, the commonality between Late Discovery Adoptees, Donor Conceived Individuals, and Misattributed Parentage, is more alike than not. DNA surprises run rampant in every category. Hats off to Eve for having the courage to bring these DNA secrets/surprises to light.

Job's HollowNPE fascinatedEve is so warm and spontaneous. There are several podcasts with this theme, and they are good. But Eve remains my favorite. Her cheerfulness and vulnerability shine through.
-
FionaOrion1234Thanks!I love your podcast. I am not an NPE but I have learned so much through your podcast. Mary

RunnerKryronSo happy to have found Eve!I love all things Eve! She has a magical touch with her approach to people, healing, and (in my case, as an adoptee) talking about a life of wondering where we came from and who we even are. As an NPE herself, she just gets it. She explores, listens, and learns along with the rest of us. Her authenticity, vulnerability, and willingness to guide us through all the feels with her podcasts have played a significant role in helping me begin to find the way back to myself. Iām so happy to have found Eve on this wild and crazy journey!
-
SandraKWimmerHealingThis is the first podcast I found when I had my NPE discovery and it continues to be extremely healing!! Thank you Eve for all the heart and time youāve put into this. You are making a difference! Looking forward to the next season!

RomanrjohnsonEveShe brings out the best in her interviews. I am so grateful to have stumbled across her podcast at a time in my life that Iām trying to overcome the stigma Iāve placed upon myself of being the dirty little secret. Thank you!

Kimmy smilesKim HThis podcast is not just a heartfelt collection of stories for the NPE/adoption/donor conceived community. Itās also an awesome tool for learning about help that is available for those on their journey to figure out their family puzzles. Eveās compassion come through in each episode.

K.L.S.999Iām not aloneThis podcast helps me, as an NPE, to see that others are in similar situations. Although there are sometimes major differences in our stories, our beliefs, and our experiences it brings people together and helps with understanding who we are.
-
debbies1028Amazing Podcast!Eve has such a heart for the NPE community. She is a wonderful advocate for those that are searching to find their truth. I have had the opportunity to be a guest on two of her podcast episodes. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone that has an interest in genealogy. Especially to those that find themselves searching to find their truth after spitting in a tube. Thank you Eve for your passion and commitment to the NPE community.

jkrabbGreat show and a great hostAs a fellow podcaster and psychotherapist, I appreciate Eveās kindness, professionalism and approach with her guests. Sheās fun to talk to, like your just chatting with a friend, and publishes her show with integrity.
-
SJ LaddA fun and cathartic NPE podcastI listen to NPE podcasts pretty much every day. Itās a morning ritual that allows me to feel like Iām part of a community instead of just alone with these feelings that most people just can not understand. I love how Eveās podcast can hit all the right notes on an often sad subject, but can also inject a little bit of humor into our situation. I find myself smiling more often than crying, which is exactly what I need some days. Thank you :)
-

JC2158Eve is so good!!!I have listened to most of the podcasts out there related to DNA discoveries, and most of them are very good, but Eveās is my favorite. Therefore, when I decided to share my story, sheās the podcaster I wanted to share it with. I just love how down to earth and real she is, and she conducts her interviews with such heart. I canāt recommend this podcast enough!!! ā¤ļø
