    Very Fun podcast!
If you like all things whales, you will enjoy this podcast. The hosts are 3 enthusiastic whale nerds! (I mean that with the utmost respect🤪). The episodes range from 10 mins to almost 2 hours. They cover research papers they have found. They discuss their own experiences being around whales. They also have experts in a variety of topics on whales as guests on the show. I like their enthusiasm and like learning new facts about whales. I know other podcasts have the hosts taking about papers or news events. I have tried some and get bored because the hosts don’t bring anything extra to the topic. These hosts will cover papers or events and do provide extra info. And I have to say I really enjoy when they do interview their guests. They ask questions that myself as a listener also want to know. Again, do recommend listening to the podcast!

    A must listen
I LOVE this podcast. Even though I am in the middle of a continent, far from any ocean, this podcast makes the sea and its largest creatures come alive. The topics, pacing, interview choices, and much more are all top notch! Thank you for your dedication in sharing science!

    A Whaley Fun Show!
What a fun show to listen to - especially from Long Island! I love to listen to Whale Tales with my elementary age kids - we all learn something and we appreciate the discourse on whales, oceans, and more! A Whaley fun show for all!

Yeah, I’m thinking it’s whale time
No-nonsense whale talk- doesn’t get better than this

    Beluga and happy holidays
And the reason why I like this episode so much because blues are my favorite animals and I felt so happy to learn about them

    I love this podcast!
I am very new to learning about whales. I try my best to find documentaries about them, but there aren’t a ton of them out there. This podcast is lovely and exciting for someone who isn’t an expert at all. Keep up the great work!

Just what I was looking for
I LOVE WHALES. I had no idea a podcast like this existed. I looked up whales and this popped up and women talking about whales is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you from another female whale enthusiast (amateur)

    You guys are the best!
Having recently discovered podcasts, I’ve searched through a lot of ocean themed ones. You are so detailed and always leave me wanting to know more. Just the right balance of small talk and super interesting facts. Your preparation and enthusiasm is what I keep coming back for. Definitely helping through boring Covid times! 🐳🐋

    Obsessed
I’m an undergrad in the U.S. studying marine biology and cetaceans make my heart happy! I found this podcast literally a week ago by searching “whales” in apple podcasts and I have now listened to every episode! You guys are amazing and I can’t wait to listen to this month’s episode! Have a whaley great day <3

    Not much actual content.
I enjoyed the topics and information, it just felt like the topic of each episode was only talked about for less than half the podcast. The rest was taken up by other material; patreon plugs, whale stories, and other topics that didn’t have much to do with the topic.

    Great podcast!!!
I love this podcast!!!! It makes going out to mow the lawn so much more fun! Personally I’m very into the southern resident orcas, and so when I looked this week to see your more recent podcasts, I could have jumped up and down when I saw your June orca awareness month podcast!!! I can’t wait to hear it!!! I am learning so much! Who knew that bards beaked whales had up to 14 stomachs!?!?!

    Oh no, more anti-male bias
Only 30 seconds in and they’re already othering all male listeners...plenty more podcasts to listen to than to have to put up with this any more
