I agree with most other listeners that Bill brings this show down. He doesn’t bring much to the table. He complains and is very cynical about almost everything he talks about. The other two guys are fantastic. This is my opinion obviously, and I don’t mean to sound rude, but I am being honest with how I feel about this show. Truth hurts sometimes.

This is an entertaining podcast with some interesting observations contained within the banter, however; at times it sounds more like a college dormitory. One of the speakers giggles a lot and then throws out F-bombs for shock value.

This podcast is incredible and contrary to other comments I believe Bill is great on the pod. This pod is a lot more that just surface level finance. Brew is the guy who is in touch with reality and I find myself asking the same questions. JT’s veggies are great and the pod is facilitated beautiful by Tobias. This pod is the GOAT.

This podcast has devolved into 3 idiots chatting with no content. Tobias and JT are generally pleasant, but Bill brings little but narcissistic whining. When Tobias stopped prepping and started just showing up to talk the podcast lost it’s rationale.

This would be an easy 5 star review if it weren't for Bill constantly whining, being rude, and derailing interesting conversations. Haven't listened to a single episode where Bill hasn't had a negative impact on what is otherwise a fantastic podcast.

Please for the love of all your listeners, remove Bill until he can get through an entire podcast without whining about himself and his own strategies instead of talking about investing principles and situations. If I have to hear him melting down like a 5 year old toddler again I’ll lose my mind. 21 Feb 2022

Such a frustrating show to listen to. Toby and Jake provide very thoughtful market insights and macro/micro speculations. Toby’s pondering and Jake’s ‘veggies’ make for excellent content. Bill on the other hand is rude, off topic, and is constantly overpowering the conversation. This really detracts from what would otherwise be an excellent show. Please drop the third and stick to good, insightful content.

Perfect if you love to double down on Value Investing.

I listen to many financial, news and other kinds of podcasts and, usually, there is value in them, somewhere. I listened to this bunch of guys all the way through (over an hour), waiting for them to stop beating around the bush and address something substantive. Didn’t happen. I can imagine these guys, in an earlier age, sitting in chairs around a cracker barrel just talking, about the weather, crops, whatever. Total waste of time.

The host highlights all aspects of investing and more in this can’t miss podcast! The host and expert guests offer insightful advice and information that is helpful to anyone that listens!

Thursdays are always fun and usually educational. But the Monday programs are the red meat to go with the veggies. Toby does a terrific job guiding the conversation. He leaves a lot of room for the subject to expound. He stays very neutral and rarely interjects himself into the interview. Top notch. And I’m happily invested in DEEP and ZIG. And no, this was not a paid review!

I look forward to VAH every week because it feels like hanging out with the boys. I learn something new every week and enjoy it. The balance of personalities between Toby, Jake, and Bill works well. They share common principles (valuation) but come from different perspectives, which makes the interactions of ideas interesting and productive. Thank you for consistently making this podcast and please keep it up.

Hilarious and knowledgeable, somehow at the same time.

This podcast is always enjoyable to listen too and I learn a lot. Great interviews and discussions but Toby needs to stop breathing into the mic while the other person is talking.

Value after hours is great - thought provoking and yet always good for a laugh. The guests Tobias has on are great as well. Definitely in the top 3 podcasts I regularly listen to.

Value After Hours is my single favorite investing podcast, and even a great news source to keep up weekly on things happening in the world of finance. If you are an aspiring professional investor, you absolutely can’t beat this mix of Brewster’s witty commentary, Carlisle’s deep quantitative insight, and Taylor’s fascinating connections between investing and other realms of intellectual curiosity. Two big thumbs up!

Entertaining and thought provoking. More of those would be great.. interviews are okay since so many podcasts have interviews it’s nice to listen to the different format of the after hours episodes.

I randomly came across this show a week or two ago and I've listened to all the episodes. I like the laid back (not formal) approach to the podcast. Also, all three co-hosts are extremely intelligent and knowledgable.

Really enjoy this podcast. I’ve worked in Finance my whole career but I recommend this pod to those outside and inside the business. You will learn some good stuff, get exposed to new ideas. Some complex topics are handled in a fun, lighthearted way. Tobias is a great host

All things value investing, killer podcast. Tobias is wicked engaging and from time to time throws out some jokes that are actually funny (normally tough to do when talking about enterprise value, P/E multiples, quantitative models, etc.) Would recommend to any investor. Value after hours is just more of the same!

Tobias is an incredible interviewer and one of the best in the biz at expertly extracting those bits of gold listeners are looking for. He and his guests provide some incredibly actionable and compelling content on how to build a deeper relationship with, and understanding of, value investing. I highly recommend listening and subscribing to The Acquirers Podcast if you want the knowledge to level up as an investor in any asset class!

Exposure to all types of analysts. Some foreign, some micro cap, etc and insight into the framework each one takes.

Every week when this pops up on my feed, I set aside whatever I was doing and listen. It’s consistently top notch. I learn something valuable every episode.

The background music on the beginning and the end is really loud compare to the rest of the podcast. Most people turn up the volume for the podcast and listen on a earphone. I almost become deaf from the music in the beginning and the end. Please adjust the music volume. I love the podcast besides that. Thanks for the great work.
