gabnic06Best watch podcast aroundInteresting and knowledgeable watch talk with hints of irreverence and a big satisfying finish… nuff said? Keep it up guys!
-
Rock JayhawkMy Favorite Watch Podcast!Great podcast for everything watches and the people making, selling, and owning them! Absolutely best to hear your conversation with Federico! Keep up the honest conversations!

gmoneyswag.comOne of the best podcasts out there.Edit: I figured it was time to update my review. It is still 5 stars, but Dave "Floatlite" Sharp has been upgraded from substitute host in Rick's absence to full time co-host. While the dynamics are a bit different - the show is still one of the highlights whenever there's news in the watch world - I look forward to the Scottish Watches podcast and their take on the news. ----- Rick and Rikki are fantastic. They inject a bit of humour and fun into the world of watches, which can be a pretty bland and staid industry. They are my favourite watch podcast bar none.

Renter NYCBeautiful Clusterfu— of a Watch PodcastA surprisingly informative, irreverent, and all around great listen. If you want precise, dry, high-brow, and boring; this “nay” for you. You’d probably prefer Vaffahngool. If you’re looking for real, honest, and down to Earth views on the watch industry, media, current events and the Scottish dating scene, then this is your* jam.

KbruinsAlways a good laughThis podcast is such a joy to listen to. It has great watch talk and great guests. The dynamic between the hosts works so well, and if it doesn’t make you laugh there is obviously something wrong with you. Check them out. Be fore warned though, that Scottish talk can be hard to understand at times, but heck that’s most of us at times. A really great show, and at 2 years running they’ve really hit their stride.

Lap_yodaIf it’s not Scottish... it’s crap!Rick and Rikki are two Scottish blokes who have a lot of fun taking the wind out of a blustery, haughty industry and who are a riot to listen to. They also have established friendships with a lot of the other watch bloggers and frequently have them as guests to talk about industry trends. If you’re a fan of watches and have a soft spot for Scottish accents and humo(u)r, this is worth the listen.
-
sjracerNot about watchesIf all you care about is a couple of juvenile delinquents making fun of everyone else and swearing every other word, you'll love this podcast. If you're looking for actual adult oriented watch content, look elsewhere. These guys are idiots.
-
drapfulGood info and great funThese guys manage to be well-informed and they seem to know a lot of interesting folks in the watch field. They’re also irreverent and funny, and so Scottish. Just so, so Scottish. (Keep listening, and you’ll get the hang of their accents.) And since they’ve asked for jokes: How do you know when it’s dark in hell? When you can’t see a damned thing.
-
Xavier Knight SanchezBest from the Land of the NessAwesome podcast. Rick and Rikki have great chemistry, although it may just be very funny elder/farmer abuse. Best place to come to listen to two guys sometimes stand each other and interview some amazing people on occasion( shoutout to the shiny stickers.) If you’re interested in watches, where have you been? And if you’re are interested in Panerai, you’ll fall in love. Keep up the great work, and look forward to many more episodes of movie talk, baby monitors, the occasional curse word, and some watches.
-
Bss32Not much of a Watch podcastThis podcast is mostly just jokes & juvenile behavior, with the occasional mention of a watch. If you’re looking for a podcast about watches that has actual discussions, observations, opinions, anything interesting, etc- this probably isn’t what you’re looking for. On the other hand: if you want a podcast with 2 Scottish guys telling mostly bad jokes, being silly and making fun of each other the whole podcast, you’ll love it!
-
Anonymous7.2.12A refreshingly light hearted watch podcastThese guys are to Top Gear as the American version of the Office is to the original version of the Office. That said, Rick is a saint for putting up with Rikki’s juvenile antics, and the podcast is worth a listen simply as a lesson in patience.

SqrWkThe best overachievers in WatchClicker podcastingI’ve been listening for over a year learned of the podcast through Adrian at Bark and Jack whom Jack J Forster has not heard of ;) and found some weird personal connection from one of their Red Bar meetups. For two fellas just into watches for maybe 3 years they are so entertaining and legit in their love of watches. They work hard. As a friend of all things Scottish I’m so very happy each week to tune in and be misinformed by two of my favorite purfet and adorable kith and kin. Well done lads well done. Hope to meet you some day. JL @watchsalis

brisketnribsCorona ProofThese guys are the “Seinfeld” of watch talk. A great show about nothing.
-
vonsethric82Great fun! This is such a great listen. These guys bring a fresh perspective and put the fun back into a community that often takes itself way too seriously. Give them a chance and you won’t be disappointed.
-
David4130These guys are a riot!Always entertained and informative of what is happening in the watch community’s. Bang on job!
-
bigred7078Top notch watch podcastI think these two muppets do a fantastic job. A great mix of comedy and real watch news. I’m not sure what I’d do without this podcast during my commute so please keep up with the twice a week releases!!!
-
The Epi Man!Linguistically challenging but highly entertainingThis is what I love about the watch community. Informative conversations about watches with lots of humorous commentary. Thanks for doing this guys!
-
MgalecAlways EntertainingFrom the mists of Jockistan comes surprisingly insightful commentary and watch news. Often befuddled, it leaves no rabbit trail unexplored. It is my favorite podcast by far.
-
Big Mac BoxerSurprisingly informativeThis is the best podcast on watches by far! It is the only thing I listen to while drinking sandwiches and playing with Legos! Keep up the great work!

watchmedtimeI can finally understand ScottishAt first I couldn’t understand a word but I’ve had nothing to listen to since Watch and Listen went off the air so I persisted. Now I have the beginnings of a glossary based roughly on the Wade-Giles romanization system of Mandarin Chinese: Gran Say-kee-ooo = Grand Seiko Been Kl-aye-mair = Ben Clymer Morris Grows-man = Moritz Grossman Br-egg-gay = Breguet C-air-tee-ay = Cartier Teen un t-woo = ten and two Aye doob-uh-yah see = IWC A-dree-anne frum B-arr-k un Jak = Adrian from Bark and Jack “I’ve got that in the morning and poke yer bum with it” = self lubricating wood (lignum vitae)

echtjbmThey make a lovely sound. The two hosts speak Scottish, which means that it's completely unknowable what actual words they may be uttering. No matter – their exotic glottals make a lovely soundtrack for your day. Nominally, they are speaking about wristwatches. I have no way to confirm that. How could two people spend this much time talking about wristwatches? Rumor has it that one host is a hotheaded young petrolhead and the other an aging consumptive monk who always keeps his face hidden when he sneaks out of his cell to make these recordings. Whoever they may be, they release two podcasts per week of their mouth music, only sometimes ruined by English-speaking guests who break the trance.

CharlesEnchargeThe BestGenuine watch enthusiasts, talking watches. Great variety of brands, interviews, and topics without the pretentious atmosphere of the ‘other guys’ from New York. The Ricks are guys you’d actually want to talk to at a bar. Additionally, they routinely introduce other smaller watch blogs/podcasts which I’ve come to enjoy.

bluesplooshThe bestThe best watch podcast out there Sorry HODINKEE your still second
-
seniorcoolPure Wristwatch EntertainmentThese guys are fun. They make no bones about being “the most petty and ill informed watch podcast on the internet” I enjoy all the great jokes too. I also appreciate that they keep it clean, for the most part. Here’s my favorite, funny, bible verse for Rick. 2 Kings 2: 23-24.
-
Tony 423Fun wristwatch podcastThis has taken the top spot as my favorite podcast. It’s one part Panerai wearing Monty Don, one part Tinder addicted Irvine Welsh; and I’m not sure which I prefer. It would be perfect but as a Tennessee hillbilly, I take umbrage with the lack of respect afforded Daniel Wellington. Still, I will continue to listen out of spite. Go Vols!
-
Dogez1Such class!!!I never thought I would find myself listening to a podcast about sheath cleaning twice a week but these guys pull it off with such class!!! Bravo!!! The watch talk is good too🏇⌚️
-
Milton G CornweevilGo WatchesThis is currently my favorite podcast as I'm a huge fan of the Scottish Watches. Most guys don't get into Women's Cricket, but not me. These ladies can rake! Plus, you'll never think of googley the same. So, Go Watches!
-
navajo billiganaHilariously Entertaining and Delightfully Educating...This podcast ROCKS! I love the cultural differences among the phrasing when referring to everyday life events and also while descriptions of the watches. This podcast is so insightful with fresh perspectives of modern and vintage watches alike. I am looking forward to many years of great listening to ScottishWatches. I can learn a lot from you guys and I appreciate the sacrifices you’ve made to produce such great work! Thank you! Blaine, New Mexico, USA. @docblaine on Instagram.

UtgloverA wonderful podcastThis is one of my favorite podcasts! The hosts really know a ton about horology and are keen to share that information with their listeners. Their wit is on full display and their sense of humor shines. It’s clear that they are long time friends and the humorous banter comes across so naturally you would think you are sitting there. Tenn & Two is quickly becoming my favorite podcast. Well done girls! Go Vols!! #nashvillewatchclub

XnicboXWottish SatchesGreat podcast. Insightful and filled with humor. Scottish accents are fairly new to my ears (I’m FrOm FlOrIdA) so that makes it a bit more interesting to listen to. Keep up the good work
-
sterman7WonderfulCheers boys. Great show. Love the engagement and the Scottish scents never gets old. Keep it coming fellas.
-
KoolpepLove these guys....in a proper manly fashion of course. Haha. Your show is always lovely to listen to, never gets boring but where you really shine the most is when you interview people, somehow the same person interviewed by you gets me more substance and interesting content then elsewhere. Thanks a lot for creating this show. I even adopted the Scottish accent a wee bit already.
-
Mr. Tornado head.the Tinder of the watch worldLike Tinder, the Scottish Watches podcast is full of questionable claims and vague promises. Unlike Tinder, the blokes here are upfront about the potentially misleading information they put forth. If you are even slightly interested in watches, you should listen to this. Correction, you need to listen to this. You will actually laugh out loud. Have a sense of humor about timepieces.
-
LukeSabinMy favorite podcastI’ve listened to every watch podcast out there and this is best one. Keep it up
-
mattjmcd_GMTWell above average. 😎What can I say? I try to stay laconic in all things. So I’ll shut up and just say “give these guys a listen”. Unpretentious and entertaining. Download them, sharpish!!
-
Scott'sTotsGenuine guysReally enjoy their podcast. They are easy to listen to and offer great insight on popular watch brands. Fun and informative in all aspects, their Scottish accents are also killer for us state side folks!
