What I Love About Sex

235

Stephanie Ganowski is a clinical sexologist and sex coach for men. In her podcast, “What I Love About Sex”, her mission is to take the pressure out of sex and put the pleasure in!
She does this by helping men overcome their d*ck-related issues and improve their sex communication skills, so they can feel in control of their bodies and connecting deeply with their partners.

Coaching clients 1:1 for 6+ years, with a background in psychology, relationship communication training and clinical sexology makes Stephanie the person you can trust to help you. She especially wants men to have a ‘go-to’ place for help here, so they feel they’re directly spoken to and supported.
Stephanie is a firm believer that sex is like any other part of life in that we need to work to understand and improve it through practice, vulnerability and patience. And if we can do that while having fun and not taking ourselves so seriously, we can create the sex life we’ve always dreamed of.

Stephanie’s style of coaching (and podcasting) is lighthearted, fun and action oriented. Her aim is to have her listeners leave her show feeling confident in what step to take next!

Sexual Health and Relationship Content Geared Towards Men
Steph is filling a gap in sex education and sex therapy techniques by specializing in men's issues and psychology. There's so much out there empowering women's sexuality (rightly so), but a relative dearth of resources and practitioners specializing in men. Stephanie sets herself apart with her clear passion for her work and her emphasis on consistency, grit, and determination when working on sexual issues. For instance, the stop-start technique is actually highly effective for most a man to permanently train his body to control its reflexes and responses, not just a technique to be used in the moment. I've seen renowned sex therapists, such as Ian Kerner, blow off stop-start and essentially say it's not worth it/not effective because, in part, no woman will have the patience to practice it. See Between Us Clinic for another provider that has the right approach.

    Changed my life
Listening to this podcast has changed my life. Steph is amazing. She’s been through so much and has never even thought of quitting. Her commitment to us her listeners and followers is unfailing. Cannot stress enough how grateful we are to her. And she’s a huge fan of The Office too so there’s that.

What I like about Steph and her podcast
I have been listening to Steph’s podcast and following her on IG for about 8-9 months now. The information that she gives has completely changed my relationship and sex life, and brought both to a level I never thought it would be. Her advise isn’t just sex. She taught me how to communicate, how to approach certain situation, patients when it came to sex life, and yes she has some amazing sex tips. What I like best about Steph is her passion for her work, her connection with her followers and clients, and mostly how easy and approachable she is.

    Incredible!
I just found this podcast the other day. I started listening and it’s exactly what I need! As a disabled man in my 30s, I’ve struggled trying to understand myself, to understand this area of my life specifically. Confidence hasn’t been easy for me to grasp. I believe a lot of my struggles are because of how I see my disabled self. Thank you for putting out this podcast! I can’t wait to go back in to the archives and then listen to new episodes as they air. Keep up the great work, Stephanie!

    Steph is Brilliant!!
Focusing on helping men weave our way through the labyrinth of our needs when men have been taught to deny all that for decades. Traumatized into neglecting ourselves. Grateful for the expertise and patience she brings to the community of men.

    The Gospel
Stephanie is giving the game here, and everyone should listen. She covers so many topics here that, from conversations I’ve had with people, could save relationships. I know a lot of folks aren’t comfortable talking about sex (or anything of importance for that matter) but the reality is many people are out here having it and it could be MUCH BETTER. Take a listen, chances are there’s a topic she hits that you will bookmark and revisit later. I know for sure, in one episode, I’ve learned a ridiculous amount and am excited to keep listening and learning. So don’t be prude, step your sex game up with Steph! She’s REAL, doesn’t beat around the bush (no pun intended) and cuts to the chase. I’m happy to have discovered her and her wisdom. Peace and Love!

    Not Bad, needs some work
I started listening to her because I liked her vibe. She seemed nice and some of her podcasts were shorter. However, I think there is room for improvement. She seems unorganized and flustered when she speaks. I also feel like most of the time she just keeps saying “and that’s okay.” She doesn’t really dig deeper into someone’s concerns. During one of her podcasts, she was reading some men’s fantasies and she would laugh at some of them! She would say something like “no judgement” but then would chuckle or snicker when she read one. If I shared my fantasy and she laughed I would’ve felt defeated/humiliated. I believe she’s going through some coursework to get certified in sex counseling or something but she’s not certified yet. I just wish there was a little bit more professionalism on her end.

What I love about this pod
I found Steph on IG and never really was into pod cast. I was having to travel for work and about an hour of my drive would be in a dead zone for radio. I saved a few of her cast and listened to her in my trip. I’m hooked now! I love how she covers all the bases. I have always felt I am willing to work on myself, but this really reenforces what I’m doing. “Open minds and positive thoughts, open doors and positive outcomes “ thanks

She’ll call you out on your excuses and give you action steps to change your behaviors towards women and life. She knows what a strong and resolute man looks like and she wants us to become that. Like she says in her intro, she’s rooting for us! Thank you so much, Steph! I’m rooting for you too!

    Uncertainty
This episode hit home! “Move from fixed method of living to growth method of living”...so true, and needed to hear it. “Maybe the best thing for your kids is to step away from the relationship and love yourself more...you have to love yourself to give love to others”...exactly how I have felt, but have been scared to make the jump. “Trust your gut”...I finally have started listening to myself. Thank you! This was great!
