The first time I listened, I cried. So I kept listening. And now I’ve binged every single episode. The guests are interesting, the storytelling is superb, and the sound design takes me back to the scene of the story! And sometimes, the stories of God’s goodness make me cry.

Always beautiful and heartrending! Sometimes sad but always end with joy. Highly recommend!

Heard about this show on the podcast The World and Everything In It. I would also recommend that one too. But this one is so powerful and shows you all the ways God has been acting in people. I love this podcast!!!

These diverse stories of how God draws people to Himself, encourages me to keep praying for those who don’t know Him yet. These stories show me how God knows what each person needs to be drawn to Him. This podcast keeps me praying for people who still need to know Him to know the Spirit is still working even when those being drawn don’t share what is going on in their hearts.

Listening to the powerful testimonies from Compelled has been such a blessing and encouragement. As a consumer of many Christian podcasts which I enjoy and am encouraged by, I find something special and different in Compelled. The production quality of the episodes coupled with the thoughtful, sober approach in telling these stories is unlike anything else I’ve encountered. These testimonies engage not just my hear and my soul, but also my mind. It’s incredibly refreshing. So grateful for this ministry.

I loved Anna’s testimony. I prayed for my husband for 33 years. God did a work in me and in His time my husband got saved. When he got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease he new he was was not indestructible but a sinner in need of God’s saving grace. God in His abundant grace continues to sanctify us as we walk out His good plan for us. God is good and the portion from His hand is holy.

I love this podcast! Before listening to this podcast I had only listened to true crime podcasts but was looking for something more encouraging. This podcast fulfilled this need! It is encouraging and inspiring!! It’s worth listening to!

Hearing stories about God’s work in people’s lives inspires me and often chokes me up. Paul reminds me of Guy Raz on “How it’s Made”— just how Christ followers are made! Have shared with friends! Love to do housework while listening.

I found out about “Compelled” because of their ad on “The World and Everything in It.” I appreciate the stories and listen to them as I do housework. I often find myself thinking about snatches of the conversations weeks and months after I’ve listened to the stories. I grew up listening to the dramatized stories from the Pacific Garden Mission’s “Unshackled” radio program, and this podcast feels a bit like that. I have shared a number of “Compelled” episodes with my family and enjoy listening to past episodes in the archives. I want to say thank you to Paul Hastings and the rest of his team who helps these stories come to life!

I searched and searched the internet for a place to listen to testimonies of regular people whose lives were changed for good by the grace of Jesus Christ. Let me tell you, there is some weird stuff out there, and even some pretty good stuff but just without quality production. Somehow, I finally landed on Compelled. I forgot what my first episode was - I think #49 with Ron Adkins, maybe?? Regardless, I was hooked from the start! I think I have gone back and listened to every story and I can’t wait for next season. If you want to hear examples of the power of the Good News about Jesus at work in the modern world, check this podcast out!

These testimonies show me that ANYONE can be chosen by God and that He will do the work to bring that person to salvation using His people, His word and the Holy Spirit who convicts, convinces and orchestrates all of the pieces. I need to keep praying that my unsaved loved one is chosen and that God will give him the gifts of belief and grace and I need not get discouraged or give up. The Lord is sovereign over all hearts. Thank you for this amazing podcast.

What an amazing story of a man who endured the 9/11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon! I know he suffered much pain through his experiences, but am thankful he shares God’s goodness in all that has happened. Thank you for every Compelled podcast! Years ago, my son asked if God was still doing miracles today. This podcast features true stories of God miraculously changing peoples’ lives through the power of Jesus. Awesome!

This is such a great podcast. Each story is so unique and is told so well. I love being encouraged by each story.

Each episode will remind you of how powerful the gospel is, how uniquely the Lord orchestrates His purposes, and how awesome He is to rescue, love, and transform us… most often in “IMPOSSIBLE” situations. You cannot listen without praising and worshiping Jesus! These are exciting times!
