Anom652147Near future horror done rightIs the world heading towards a near future of horrors, where overpopulation and climate change has finally taken the earth to its brink? A World Where answers this in a short, complete anthology of episodic horror stories, each with their own new characters and imaginative, terrifying realities. Here is capitalism at its peak, as well as the overreach of social engineering. What is the cost of greed, or fear, or resource scarcity? Not preachy, just suspenseful in a way that in one day we might think hits close to home. Highly recommended!

RA1230IncredibleThis podcast is SO good. I love Black Mirror-esque stories and every one of these episodes was so engrossing. This is my favorite podcast and I really wish there was more. Truly perfect.

Somebody123321The audio version of black mirror or twilight zoneA very good audio drama of several stories, some that are closer to actually happening than others. Though only 6 episodes, it’s worth the listen.

RiffTheJetA World WhereI have more than 30 anthology podcasts that I either subscribe to, or listen to (underneath the subscriptions) - but of them all I think “A World Where” might just be the best one. Thrilling, imaginative, nightmarish, with a touch of black humor. Destined for greatness.

Eddief419Horror with a splash of HumorThe cooking show episode was an extremely well produced and well written ride!

BettyJaneStarlingMesmerizing!I’m hooked!

GaGDad2Disturbing in a necessary thought provoking way!The daunting possibility that The World Where is foretelling where our planet could be headed is a dramatic wake up call for all😱. Without embracing critical fundamentals for humanity of sustainability, equity, environmental stewardship, tolerance & such it’s not beyond the realm of imagination - certainly of the TWW creative team. Keep us thinking!!!

Nakida BonanzaEngrossing and rivetingSo amazing! So overwhelming! So engrossing! I find myself returning to episodes and mulling them over months after my first listen.
-
JinnochioExtraordinaryI love how this podcast picks me up, and plops me into this vaguely familiar universe. Where I’m able to be fully immersed in the story. The binaural aspect of the storytelling truly elevated the experience. I look forward to what comes next! Best -Jinno.

lwarneSeeing myself in dystopiaI’ve been finding myself hesitant to engage with depictions of dystopia because lol that’s everyday. But my desire to hear interesting queer stories won out and I’m hooked! If you’re a scaredy cat like me, for the representation and stay for the incredible story telling.

Nic0le-BowlingBlack Mirror...the podcast (but better cause LGBTQIA+ rep whoop whoop!)Phenomenal. Ground breaking. Simply fantastic. If you love dystopian universes, alternate realities, sharp, suspenseful satirical tales that have ACTUAL representation, then you’ve hit the jackpot. This podcast should be getting all the love cause every single episode will have you listening til the end. I can’t wait til the second season but I AM HOOKED!

ZenthropologistWow.Just discovered this and binged in a day. What black mirror could have been if every episode was as twisted as they should be, full of amazing queer character, moral ambiguity, and deep questions about the role of humanity in this world and beyond. I really needed something like this to listen to and can not wait for season 2

NoeldrouilletAn Amazing ShowI don’t write reviews for podcasts nearly as much as I should, considering how much I listen to them, but I couldn’t help doing so for this particular one. From the first episode, it made me feel something. A little scared, sure, but also curious and amazed and wondering about our future. It’s definitely worth listening to.

avidlistener350Gripping, chilling and rivetingThis podcast pulled me right in from the very beginning. Story is chilling, and timely in many ways. Sound quality and engineering, writing, acting - all superb. You will not be able to stop listening. Looking forward to all the next episodes. (ITunes ironically paired this on my “You may also like” with NPR’s Hidden Brain. You will get it after you listen to this podcast.)

Sparker1993Interesting!Great acting and great storyline - can’t wait for more.

ChicaneLoverA talented portrayal of a classic questionWould you rather have everything you think is negative about you, physically, mentally, and emotionally, surgically removed? Or would you rather find beauty in your flaws? The answer is clear in this podcast. Can’t wait to hear more!

KasiahollaLove me some great dystopian realness! If you like dystopian sci-fi as much as I do then this podcast is for you. At first listen, I already knew I was hooked, with the auditory sensations my ears were filled with. It was a taste of a very twisted reality and very well done. From the beautiful sound quality to the clear writing to the execution of the voices and top notch acting, I was very much impressed and can’t wait for the full release in September!
