    10/10 for high fantasy shenanigans
Why does this podcast not have more views?! This is criminally underrated. I am very picky when it comes to podcasts I like and having listened to around maybe 40 of them I know when something is well written and has love poured into it and Dark Ages checks both of those boxes. I will be waxing lyrical about this podcast to anyone who will listen Please please please tell me there is a season 2 on the way!

    Colorful Storytelling and Fun Characters!
I’ve definitely found a new favorite! I enjoyed the entirety of the first episode. I can’t wait for the next one! Proud of you, Dad. -Gam ❤️

    Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
Hands down the best audio fiction I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Storyline, characters, voice acting, sound quality and design…all are top notch. It’s utterly engaging and hilarious, I’m listening to it for the third time. Nothing matches it. Thank you to all involved!

    Easily the best audio fiction
I’ve listened to every episode twice now. The story is expertly executed and every character has more complexity and depth than you would think you could get from an audio only platform. Funny and entertaining, this show is well worth the listen. It’s far better than any of the big budget fiction podcasts I’ve listened to.

    Thank you!!
This show is my favorite scripted audio series out! Acting, sound design, character development, all of it. Top notch. Kudos. I hope you guys get a production deal to provide this on a bigger scale

    Must listen
This show is absolutely top notch in both sound quality, and story telling. The characters are engaging and hilarious, the story and world it is set in are captivating, and it has been a delight to listen to! If you like fantasy realms with a little twist, this is definitely the story for you!

    Great show!
My favorite podcast! It’s well written, funny, the characters are great and the acting is superb. The clever play on words & situations keep me coming back. My only disappointment is that I’m quickly running out of new episodes to listen to! I can’t wait for more.

    Brilliant and Hilarious
Fantastic work, I loved every minute I’ve listened to. Great voice acting, great characters, inventive and amusing story writing. It’s very Terry Pratchett, with his style of anachronistic humor and satirical fantasy. I binged every available episode and now I’m in withdrawal: I can hardly wait for more!

    I love this show!
If you like funny writing, great performances, and a slowly unfolding (but not too slowly!) myth-arc, check out this show!!!
  • SamanthaJaneNicole
Very good show with well written characters
Not quite found family yet but definitely found... friends? One of my favorite lines: “Get in your little train and back it up” Listen and laugh and love the absolute disasters that work at Rivercliffe Museum if Mostly Natural Histories.

    :D
all the characters on ye show are so lovable and diverse! they all have different places they want to go and different struggles! it’s really interesting to hear them all interact and react to the wild things that happen at the museum and the acting and sound design is out of this world!!

    Golden age
Another review mentioned that Dark Ages is not like any other, and that’s a very accurate description. The premise is genre blending, original and creative. The storylines, characters, etc are all exciting and fun to listen to. Give this podcast a listen and a subscribe now!

    So much fun
It's hard to describe this show because it's not really like anything else out there. The theme song says it's "fantasy meets drudgery" which I think is perfect - it's got that classic fantasy feel but features a mismatched group of workaday museum employees. It's got so much more than that, too - funny, diverse characters, engaging storylines, and clever ideas for how to lovingly poke fun at fantasy tropes (like overturning the tradition of the beautiful, ethereal elves with Marwood's family). I'm always eagerly awaiting the next episode!

    Happiness is when...
A new episode releases! Funny, clever, and I want to visit the museum. Just without the golem tour guide, please.

    Love it
Why can’t this podcast release episodes more often? Perfect example of what a quality comedic audio drama is supposed to sound like.

    My new favorite
This show is incredible. I didn’t know anything about it going in and I was blown away. The voice acting, writing, and production is so good. I listened to all the episodes in one day and now I need more. I can’t stop thinking about this show.

    Delightful
Feels like a happy mix of all of the best parts of the fantasy games I’ve played and loved in a tasty audio hot pocket.
  • In a word, fantastic.
    High Quality High Fantasy
Dark Ages is a delight. Amidst a near endless number of RPG podcasts this stands out as an original scripted fantasy story that’s much better produced than anything available. The humor is good, the voice acting and audio is expressive, the characters/lore is interesting. I am invested after one episode, I was invested after the first few lines of narration. Please check this podcast out if you at all enjoy TAZ, Critical Role, or even Radio Lab style documentaries.

I want a VIP pass to this museum!
It's the Office meets D&D, and I can't stop laughing. Excellent sound design. Thanks for a fun show, can't wait for the next episode!
