    Poor Ronn
💔 Legacy dragged through the mud, at a time in his life he should be enjoying what he can… his grandchild, the giants, beating so many health obstacles Instead he will be dealing with this criminal trial close to his 80th birthday Interested in the documentary to figure out how someone with such a privileged upbringing could use the courts to try and control men..fake cancer, fake DV, sue them frivolously… Such a slap in the face to so many. Faking cancer and pregnancy is the lowest. Learn to take accountability, everyone that contributes/enables to this abhorrent behavior. Parents have to be accountable too. We’ve seen the emails from the mom

    Awful
Podcast is terrible. Poor quality, audio is bad, advice given by people who have no business giving “self-help” advice. What are your qualifications?
  • alexsimonec
    Poorly Produced
The show is poorly produced, it sounds very scripted and inauthentic.
  • Bark at a snark
    Podcast hosts removing bad reviews
I noticed my prior review has been removed. I want to reiterate a noticeable decline in quality and a lack of enthusiasm from the hosts. The interviews seem very scripted. Seems suspicious that any bad review gets deleted.

    Great Information and Energy
This was my first time listening to Laura and Jan, and they’ve gained a new daily listener. Their guest and the authenticity of the topic of conversations they speak about is relatable. Listening to them in the morning can create alot of positive energy, that can become a healthy conversation with people you know and don’t know. If you haven’t already started listening to their podcast I would highly recommend it. Hearing different perspectives on things you know can enhance your knowledge about life, their podcast does provide these great insights.Keep up the the amazing work!!

    Bay Area’s Best
Legendary is correct to call Jan Black. Her career has been of legend here in the San Francisco Bay Area. The next generation, her daughter Laura joins here in these very good podcasts exploring so many diverse subjects. The questions are well thought out and yet sometimes they just allow the guests to get off track a bit which enhances the interview. If you have not listened, what ya waiting for???

    You must listen!
I think perspective is everything in life and one of the things that the show does so incredibly well is bring perspective into the forefront of conversation by allowing people to show up as they are and share their messages in a way that can actually impact people in a way that matters. Have a great amount of appreciation for what they’re doing and it’s one of my favorite shows

  • leahzi
    Poor audio quality
The shows would be easier to listen to if the audio didn’t sound so muffled like I’m listening to a radio that isn’t tuned :( perhaps this is just the earlier episodes?
  • RSM_555
Great energy, and conversations are always on point!
NTM is a favorite of mine- the conversations are always interesting, with a diverse spectrum of guests. I love the energy and interplay between the 2 hosts- mother, daughter, millennial and baby boomer - they represent a great cross section of ideas and values. One of my favorite podcasts while on the treadmill.
  • Conehead850

    Disgusted
As a white woman...I’m VERY disappointed that there’s not one segment talking about the injustice that’s attacking the black community. HOW can anyone support this podcast that has not discussed ALL real issues other than the pandemic? Are we THAT insensitive about other lives? Do you feel THAT safe when your neighbor is being attack for no reason at all? Silence equals Violence.

Full of so much great knowledge!
Nobody Told Me! Jan Black and Laura Owens is such an incredible podcast. I really like the BJ Fogg interview on forming good habits in just 30 seconds per day. Having good habits is such an important thing that we should all adapt to. I really like how BJ Fogg shares that we sometimes have to switch things around, because sometimes we want to take on a habit and it does not work, so we quit. It is not that the habit was not a good one, it just was not set up how it should have been. Maybe instead of reading on a train or bus where it is load, we should be reading during our lunch break where we can have silence. I also really liked the interview with Paul Tough. College can definitely make or break someone. As a recruiter, the majority of clients we have want a candidate who has graduated college with a four-year degree in the industry that they are working in. Of course, my experience has always been more important in my industry. It all has to do what industry one wants to work in.

    Mother/Daughter dynamos!
Came to the podcast intrigued by the multigenerational mother/daughter hosts hook, but stayed for the eclectic guests and topics. Love that Jan and Laura bypass needless banter and over selling the topic and just jump straight into interviewing the guest(who is always top notch and interesting). I always learn something with this podcast, but maybe more importantly, feel good/uplifted after listening. Subbed!

They made me sound smarter than I am
Jan and Laura are very special podcast hosts and not only bring out the best in their guests, they actually bring out information and insights that their guests didn't even know they had. That's what they did for me. Be sure to make their Podcast high up on your "Must listen" list.

    Great Podcast!
I just found this podcast and I am so glad I did! “Nobody Told Me!” has such a wide range of topics. I like that I can listen to topics I am interested in but still enjoy topics I wouldn’t usually choose. Even though the guests come from different backgrounds and professions, I feel like they are still relatable. I’ve learned a lot already that will help me daily. I also really enjoy the mother-daughter dynamic. Laura Owens and Jan Black have great voices and their questions always make it seem like a real conversation. I have only listened to a few episodes so far, but this podcast is quickly becoming an essential part of my walk to work.

    A modern delight
People have guided me towards countless podcast and radio shows over the years, but "Nobody Told Me!" has honestly been the most cheerful source of original content I've had the joy of stumbling upon! Jan & Laura offer fun filled informative conversations that are perfect for when I'm tidying up around the house, traveling, or working late shift the office. Hopefully their frequent release schedule continues through 2019, I could never hear enough of these two!

    Well worth every minute
I’ve heard a number of podcasts that spend half their time talking about what they’re going to talk about. Jan and Laura and their guests jump right into the meat, and make every moment count. They do a great job of asking the questions that I’d really want to ask if if I were in the room with them. And, they come from a place of energetic and fun curiosity. I look forward to their next episode!

  • AdesignOK
Really enjoyable but can be improved
Love learning new things from the super interesting guests. I like this podcast, but recently it’s felt like an interrogation from the hosts. It needs more conversational feedback from the hosts or at least some more questions that directly respond to what the guest said, not firing off another unrelated question after every response.
  • Chandfreder
    Great Content, Harsh intro music
I appreciate the content of the podcast, but the intro music is harsh compared to the content. It doesn't match the messaging. Please consider changing the intro music/style, but the actual content of the 'cast is great! Keep that part up.
