Nasty CurtLive. Learn. Grow. Enjoy.I truly enjoy Charlie and Julie. Their passion for MAT is real and very interesting on how muscles impact our lives. The duo is articulate beyond belief and can relate to our physical circumstances so movement and strength improve. I’m a believer in MAT thanks to these authentic podcasts. I’m scheduling one on one MAT in June of 2025.

Nancy ConneryListen up! They know what they’re talking about.I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to them for certain issues that they’ve helped me with, whether it’s my trunk, feet, my hips, you name it they are spot on with their knowledge. They know what they’re talking about and what they do does I highly recommend them, MAT is real and effective! I’m well overdue for a visit. I’ll be signing up soon for a five pack Charlie . See you soon.

BP WriterGreat podcast, consistently good contentRecently found this podcast and love it! Each episode is interesting and informative. Really appreciated the podcast about osteoporosis. It was outstanding! What really resonated with me was learning that I am not exercising properly to build and maintain bone. Thank you so much for this specific information and the exercise class!

Always a Rainbow GirlJust Perfect!Julie and Charlie’s podcasts, videos and programs are perfectly suited to every age and ability. As I turn 70, being healthy and strong is more important than ever. While I enjoy being active outdoors, I’ve shied away from trainers and gyms as I worry that they are mainly suited to a younger and more fit population. I don’t want to be pushed too hard and possibly hurt myself. The Exercise is Health program is so adaptable to every level of fitness and ability. The workouts are easily done at home if preferred and without the necessity of expensive equipment. The podcast information is always spot on with advice tailored to appropriate and safe workouts. It is just perfect for everyone! I love it!
-
yeahitsmeExercise learnerCharlie and Julie really articulate the best way to exercise! Exercise has always been important to me but as someone who is currently in the process of losing weight this episode was particularly important!
-
4islandgirlsPretty IgnorantYou lost me with the Carnivore Diet episode. Anyone who can promote a diet that excludes all vegetables makes zero sense. And when the author said there is not a single diet that has evidence of being beneficial over the long haul, that is beyond ignorant. As one example, ever heard of the Blue Zones?
-
Chris KisselGreat informationThese episodes come from the sound foundation of Muscle Activation Techniques. My advice to all is to hire a good trainer to take your fitness to the next level.
-
Sheffner17Great Exercise InformationCharlie and Julie know their stuff when it comes to appropriate exercise for the individual. This isn’t what you will find in the mainstream media coverage of health and fitness. Take a listen and learn something new.

tytbodyVery important on what to look for as we exercisethese podcasts are what everyone who is exercising needs to know. they tell you how to listen to your body. Test out how low you can go before breaking form. it matters that you stay in your range rather than trying to do it faster. Totally a great find.

KeikojoFlexibilityI just listened to a podcast on flexibility and appreciate that Charlie and Julie Cates question historical and novel stretching techniques. The advice offered is very wise and will definitely help some of my “inflexible” figure skating students think differently about their muscles and might allow them to move their joints with greater efficiency and safety.
