LFR777Genuine inspirationI select an episode to listen to every time I have a meeting with a new prospect. Great way to reframe my thinking and bring my best self to the table.
-
namaakiiiOne of the best podcasts out there for agencies and professional servicesThis podcast has driven and inspired strategic direction for my agency. What I love most is that it inspires strategic changes that lead to profitability. And it challenges and gets me thinking differently about how we can operate. I always look forward to new episodes. Truly, one of the best podcast out there.

ShadowsFall77Good Work, Gentlemen!Great podcast! Informative AND entertaining. I have one burning question. Which one of you is Bob?
-
ehdgdhdgdjdhjedBless these Bobs!First there was Tom and Jerry, Lennon and McCartney, Burt and Ernie, R2D2 and C3-PO and then Blair and David! I’ve learned so much from their great content, that has helped my business. It’s a great listen, humor and a real candidness I really appreciated. Two great professionals genuinely out to help others. They write great books too! A great listen.
-
JnashrealOne of the Best Podcast for Agency Partners & ProfessionalsDavid & Blair kill it with their knowledge bombs they drop. With exception of the April Fools episode, I take some type of notes from every episode. They keep it fresh and fun, and I love their approach to new business and client management.
-
Jay BonesGoldThis podcast is super valuable as a creative agency professional. Also…still laughing at episode 132.

ChrisGDJordanThis is FREE?!The fact that this podcast is free blows my mind. Every episode is incredibly valuable.
-
ryandonsullivanPhenomenal InsightsGreat listen and super clear communication for anyone living the agency life. The signal to noise ratio is rich on the signal side for this podcast.
-
UiXit2 ExpertsWe’re an agile (I.e. 2 people who bring in trusted colleagues based on project needs) studio + what we’ve learned from the insight of Blair + David has helped us grow our client base to be a better fit for our business goals.
-
BigShoulders66The expertise is only matched by the candorBlair and David have known one another for a long time, and worked in parallel in the agency industry. They know where the other’s expertise will shine, and they know how to push one another’s buttons. These characteristics make this podcast as enjoyable to listen to as it is rewarding to put their advice in to practice. Please don’t stop guys!

MarketingGuy500Outstanding business podcastDavid and Blair have a keen sense of what’s relevant to creative entrepreneurs / agency owners. They blend engaging topics, keen insights, and tremendous wit into one fantastic show. During every show, I either cringe after hearing a mistake that I made in my agency or delight in “how to” advice advanced by the hosts. Either way, this podcast has become a “must listen” part of my daily drive time. (Sometimes I even drive a little extra to take in a bit more of the 2Bobs.) Well done, gentlemen!!
-
FootbushThe BEST podcast for small agencies!Had the chance to meet David a few weeks back and loved his presentation and thoughts. As a small agency owner and CEO the information these guys are sharing is so valuable and spot on. One of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to.
-
Ian SrThey leave you wanting moreI read David’s book, Expertise, and loved it. This led to me following David on Twitter and learning he had a podcast with Blair. I tried one episode of 2 Bob’s and was hooked. I have binged on 15 episodes in the past week and like to listen while on a long run where I can really focus. The moderators often differ on topics which makes for more engaging conversations. I tend to agree with Blair more often, as I have a sales background. The length of episodes is perfect and David and Blair play off each other well. I have a consulting business and find the content helpful in running my business but also in generating ideas to write about, or share with clients. Keep it up fellas, you are helping people.
-
SethLofgreenBy far, most insightful podcast availableBlair and David have the most insightful podcast (by far) on the subjects of pricing, positioning, expertise, and overall management of creative firms. We get a huge amount of value from this. (And they can be funny & entertaining sometimes too.)
-
vvvbbbrtsxcConsistent treasure trove2Bobs has save me from many an entrepreneurial mistake. It also open my eyes to SEE what's happening in my business and with my clients. I can't count the number of ideas I've immediately applied since I began listening. David C. Baker and Blair Enns are teachers in the best sense of the word. While they keep sharpening their craft as podcasters, the older episodes still brim with value.
-
LudditeMore useful than the hosts probably want it to be.This has been my must-listen podcast since it began. Mostly because the two hosts deliver such incredible value and so many thoughtful ideas despite the fact they charge a lot of money for delivering that value and those ideas to their clients. Thank you, sirs.

Scott WoodsYou can't get this level of insight anywhere elseIf you're part of the leadership of a creative agency (design, marketing, web/mobile development), then this really is required listening. Each one of them are deep experts in slightly different aspects of the industry. So their back-and-forth really uncovers the more subtle insights that their more formal independent writing wouldn't necessarily expose. Plus they're often just hilarious. Suggestion: some day you two should do an episode in "car talk" style where you take random call-ins with agency break-downs.
-
law4On-point advice. Take notes.I've been listening to 2Bobs for a long while, and I recommend you listen, too. Whether you own an agency, or any B2B services firm, all of the advice on this podcast is useful. Most of it is thought-provoking, and some it will help make a noticeable shift in your bottom line. 5 stars.
-
GraysonipCan’t Believe They Give This Value Away for FreeI constantly learn from this podcast. It’s incredible that Blair and David give away this extraordinary expertise for free. Thank you!
-
JeremyWingleI will risk sounding like a fan boy because I am.This podcast should be required listening for anyone who works at or owns a creative firm. David and Blair are as expert as they come for running a successful independent enterprise. They are straight shooters who tell it like it is with just the right amount of wit (occasional sarcasm) to make this podcast a joy to listen to. It is always a part of my rotation of business insight and I look forward with anticipation to every new episode. Subscribe now to be entertained, challenged, and inspired. Kudos, gents!

PodfanPEMWorth 60 minutes a month of your steadily diminishing lifespanThis podcast has survived numerous cullings of my favorites list in Overcast because the hosts don't take themselves nearly as seriously as they take the hard-won, well-researched insight they freely share in each episode.
-
IdealogistBears RepeatingNot only do David Baker and Blair Enns dispense genuine wisdom and challenge assumptions in every episode, but they pack so much into each that repeated listening continues to bear fruit - assuming you're willing to apply what they impart. Great stuff! Pray your competitors aren't listening!
-
The Marketing Book PodcastWhat would you say... you do here?I love podcasts, listen to a lot of them and heck, I even have my own weekly podcast. But doggone it, when a new episode of this one is published I stop what I'm doing and listen. I'm an agency owner and have been following David C. Baker and Blair Enns pretty much since I first hung out a shingle in 2001, have read and befitted from their books and have even travelled to see them speak. If you're a creative entrepreneur I guarantee this will become one of your favorite podcasts like it is for me.
-
MnerenTotally worth the time. When I listen to this podcast I imagine two small, floating, disgrunted David & Blair devils (fairies?) in my ears reminding me of all of the lessons they teach in their coaching and writing. The podcast is highly consumable in my short ride to the office which is nice. Keep it coming.
-
Taylors1129Not just for creative services: Listen up, 'treps!Entrepreneurs of all kinds can benefit from listening to the wisdom shared by 2Bobs. I've owned and operated a small M&A firm for over a decade, and have yet to hear an episode of 2Bobs that doesn't apply to me and my challenges. I only listen to a handful of podcasts on a regular basis, and this is one of them. The advice is spot-on while being fun and easy to listen to. You feel like you're eavesdropping on a conversation between two good friends (which I think is pretty much the case). Totally worth your time!
-
Adam BocklerTwo sharp people who don't hold backGreat advice from David and Blair. If you follow them, you've heard this material before. But a refresher is great, and their insight makes for a great podcast.
-
jdl612love these guys but...Im a huge fan of both these guys. However the show is an ongoing series of interviews between the 2 of them, about them, questioning each other, it's getting a bit repetitive. I know you guys can do way more then this... It would far more insightful (and valuable) if they were to interview other design studio leaders (past/existing clients perhaps) who are practicing what they preach--sharing the stories and struggles of how they achieved expert positioning, mistakes they made, trials and tribulations, etc. Bring on some insightful studio owners to interview, who are living examples of the value of expert positioning.

chrbutlerA Must-ListenNo one knows more about running a knowledge-based firm than David Baker, and no one knows more about selling expertise than Blair Enns. On this podcast, you get them both! They've clearly planned the program to be informative to their audience, but listening to it is like being a fly on the wall while they discuss things that they deeply care about. There's an intimacy to their conversation that I really appreciate, and having sat at the table with them numerous times, I can say that this podcast replicates the magic of that experience. They hold nothing back. David and Blair are brilliant, thoughtful, wonderful people; the kind of people you want to spend more time with, and I'm glad this podcast makes that possible.
-
HookithA must haveCritical topics with impacting insights. David and Blair's no nonsense approach to the subject matter is prescriptive.
-
dm005Indispensable InsightsDavid and Blair are two of the clearest and brightest minds in the creative service consulting industry. These podcasts are a revelation for anyone who owns or runs an advertising, marketing or design agency.
-
YNG Dreamin’A Must-Listen for Creative EntrepreneursThis podcast should be mandatory for any creative person looking to run a consulting business. It's the business education missing in design schools. Too many creatives are great at making but not great at growing or sustaining a business. David & Blair's conversations and insights help to bridge that gap. The best part? Each show is a short, manageable listen (under an hour and most times 30 min.) for busy business owners and freelancers.
-
jdbreazGreat Content, Expertly DeliveredReally fantastic content that you could pay a lot of money to get at a conference. If you are in branding / marketing / sales / advertising you can really get a lot from listening to these. Even in cases where they're discussing topics outside my specific role, it's easy to apply the concepts. Plus they do it in an incredibly laid back, fun way. Highly recommend a listen.
-
Ryan MittsVery HelpfulDavid C. Baker's strategic advice on management has drastically helped me create more sustainable models for my small agency. His advice has helped me reduce stress. I'm glad this podcast has also introduced me to Blair Enns, I'm now exploring his webcasts. I really enjoy this podcast and it helps summarize their books and content found online in a more "colloquial" fashion. Thanks guys!
-
Salt LabSmart. Lots and lots of smart. What I find refreshing is the lack of ego in this podcast. These are two experts who know their industries backwards and forwards and don't feel the need to impress you. It is business expertise personified in podcast form.
-
Justin_theCSolid stuffThese podcasts would be good for any business – straightforward, solid insight – but the added special sauce targeted just for the unicorns that are creative agencies makes them uniquely on point.
-
rshort7Yes!I reinstalled the podcast app just for this. Two of the best minds in our industry.
-
Fxpowers2Straight shooters with upper management written all over themPodcast gold for the creative agency principal. While these two won't be on a panel discussion anytime soon, getting to listen to them speak about our industry is worth your time. Hit subscribe. And for my money it doesn't get any better than when Blair sings "When a Man Loves a Woman."
