Suchadellothis podcast sparks joyI came to know this podcast during my first foray into Terrace House (i started with aloha state, don’t @ me i know that’s wack). Hosts Brenden & Andrea break down each episode and discuss the virtues and shortfalls of the interactions between our beloved house members. I really appreciate how Andrea sheds light on many unknown-to-me idiosyncrasies from the show with her experiences living in Japan (i.e setsubun, temples, dating culture, bath culture, the music industry, weddings in churches, j-pop, Japanese modeling industry, etc etc). Thank you, Andrea! Brenden is a master podcast editor who makes the listening extra fun with silly little effects. He takes excellent show notes and steers the podcast to balance perfectly between staying on track and following meandering tangents. Brenden and Andrea’s friendship and personal lore within the terrace house podcast add a layer of richness to the experience. When Hana Kimura passed away I grieved for her, and for the loss of Terrace House. This thing that gave me so much pleasure became a source of deep pain. After almost a year in pandemic i decided to start rewatching the Opening New Doors season. It remains a balm, especially after a year of pandemic, insurrection, you name it. Re-listening to this podcast in tandem with RE-watching Opening New Doors sparks a tremendous amount of joy in me. For that I am eternally grateful to Andrea & Brenden. If you two ever decide to revisit the OG seasons and return to the podcast, I think the whole NSAA community would cheer you on. With so much gratitude, Laura

mecchaIlovebroccolipastatoYour my angelOnly Terrace House podcast I’ve managed to get into so far. I love Andrea and Brendon’s banter and feel like I’m hanging with friends. I don’t know how I would have made it past Yuudai without them.

tolsiMy DudesGreat listen. I crack up every time Andrea says “my dude”....or “my man”...or a variation of the theme. I see a potential drinking game in my quarantine future.

KatelynfierceGreat hosts!I love this podcast, the hosts are really fun and positive while also bringing comedy to some of the stuff that happens on the show. They’re knowledge about different aspects of Japanese culture as well, so it helps me when I feel lost in cultural translation. None of my friends watch terrace house so it’s great to have some “friends” to discuss it with! Thanks for helping us all through shelter in place with such fun, well thought out content!!

Adam LeClairBest Terrace House Podcast Out There!Only started listening to this podcast a couple months ago and have completely caught up. Brendon and Andrea are perfect hosts and their passion for the show is very contagious. Love it!

camihitoriReally enjoy listening to this podcastTried a couple of Terrace House podcasts but none was really enjoyable, until I found No Script at All, Andrea and Brendon have a great vibe together and sometimes they also have different viewpoints, sometimes you agree with them and other times you k that not but if you like Terrace House I recommend listening to this podcast 120%

Manoa YoshiMore Episodes Please!!While I enjoy the week-to-week style of the podcast the most, the watch a whole part then you guys record each episode knowing what happens for at least a couple weeks concept (what you did for part 1 of OND) is great too. More importantly I’d imagine it’s wayyy easier logistically to schedule for you guys to record as you can jam them all out in one day. Life is busy and don’t wanna rush Andrea back if she’s not ready of course but post hiatus maybe for the rest of part one of t19-20 at least- I’d suggest you guys binge the rest and record remaining episodes with that knowledge purely for the purpose of getting the eps out sooner. I’m excited either way but would prefer not to wait 😭!! Keep up the awesome work!

Sam StatenLove the Pod but...I genuinely like Brendan and Andrea. I’m way too old to be obsessed with this show and with this podcast but I do think they could stands to disagree once in awhile. Not that it should be a debate but its usually one take shared by two people. I would love to hear them entertain some other points of view if they can find any points if contention. Emails? Call in line? Anyway it’s probably just the kids today. Also. I’m 10 in and I think Shohei is one of the coolest men in the show.

TerriliSuper psyched for Tokyo 2019-2020I've already binged 4 episodes with my boyfriend last night and got him on the No Script at All bandwagon. First podcast episode was so good, I could have listened to 2 hours of commentary tbh. This new cast has amazing chemistry and there are already so many notable scenes. Let's talk some more about the panel's cuts too!

LJreviewingMy favorite podcastI’ve been meaning to write this for a while, but wanted to confirm my suspicions. Turns out, yes, it’s true: No Script At All is my favorite podcast ever. Listening to this podcast makes you feel like you’re part of a great discussion between friends about the best reality show ever made. Besides the excellent topic matter at hand, Brendon and Andrea are a goddamn treat to listen to. They’ve got great commentary, a wonderful dynamic, and excellent production value. Brendan’s audio guy background pays off, and Andrea provides good insight on Japanese culture and norms. Even when they go off-topic it’s culturally relevant and delightful. If you like Terrace House, this is a must-listen!

Big_Al72Awesome Terrace House Podcast!Such a great companion to watching the show! Andrea and Brendon have a great rapport and make it so much more fun to follow the show than just by itself. When a new episode shows up in my feed, it's such a happy moment! Check them out!

AlexOHHansan for PresidentCan't get any of your friends to watch Terrace House but desperately need to talk to someone about it? This is the podcast for you. Just cannot get enough Terrace House content even though you do have people to talk to about it? Still the podcast for you. Since I've been listening to No Script At All concurrently with my first watch of all available Terrace House (and just finished both), I had the pleasure of getting to listen to Brendon and Andrea's recaps for each episode just when you need them most - right when you finish an episode and want to desperately and frantically text your friends a mental keysmash. Their discussions are fun and funny. Their friendship really comes through in their excited banter and it's easy to feel like you're just chatting about "the best show on television (tm tm tm tm)" with your friends. The show is professionally edited by Brendon. It also adds a lot to get extra details from a Japanese-speaker like Andrea on specific topics that are definitely confusing for a western audience (e.g., "Did he really just say 'I love you' after one day in a relationship?", "Why the hell are they throwing beans at this lightsaber-wielding demon?", "Why are they so confused by what appears to be obvious sarcasm?"). Thanks largely to Brendon's meticulous notetaking, they almost never miss your favorite details in any episode, so it's exciting as you wait for them to move chronologically through each episode until they get to that really juicy part that made you pause the show with a guttural yell, stare at the motionless screen for thirty seconds, do two laps around the room while mumbling "... what the hell ...", then sit back down and rewind to watch it again. Alternatively, when you just want someone else to notice the amazing English-language apparel (I'm looking at you "Aloha it's Beach, FAT BURN, funky., SUPREME COURT JUSTICE, and UNEMPLOYED"). One of the things that I most appreciate about Brendon and Andrea (and one of the hardest things to find in show like this) is that they are extremely socially conscious. They know that Terrace House isn't perfect and it's a huge relief to hear when they have the same negative reactions that I do to certain behaviors that the folks in the house or on the panel exhibit. In fact, their discussions have helped me figure out why certain scenes or panel discussions got so far under my skin and helped me power through to get back to enjoying everything that makes Terrace House so fantastic. I would dearly love if Andrea could get an audio upgrade, but it's unfair to complain when they're providing this vital service to me for free. Five out of five stars: I know now, we've seen.

ranawaytoseaGreat podcastI just started watching Terrace House (obviously I love it) and discovered this podcast. I love it, it’s a perfect companion as I watch the show!

Peanut_Butter_LoverCame for Tsubasa, stayed for the podcastI started watching Terrace House for Tsubasa, I stayed watching it for Shubasa. After that, the only thing that kept me watching it was the podcast because I love hearing the breakdown of what goes on from Their point of view. They are great and I really think they are spot on in their analysis.

CarrieEmmyI Don’t Know Yet. We’ll See.This is one of the best recap pods I listen to for any of my favorite shows. The hosts are like the kids I wish I knew in high school. Keep up the good work, my dude. 🤪
-
Bug Maniac TylerGreat hosts and production! The quality of this podcast is amazing! On top of that, Andrea and Brendon have great chemistry that keeps the show engaging and easy to listen to.
-
RVAchelLike conversing with old friendsI get excited every time a new episode hits my downloads. Brendon and Andrea strike the right mix of recapping the show and delving into fun anecdotes and tangents. I feel like we’re all sitting around having a drink together each time I listen. I also appreciate when Andrea (who lived in Japan) helps unpack cultural differences between the US and Japan, it really helps understand the context of the show.

nmcnallenSugoiWould definitely take this podcast to Costco, just the two of us ;)

richcrudeleGreat listen! Please watch terrace house and then please listen to these kind, charming folks talk about the episodes

lisbeth vAmazing podcast about an amazing showOne of the many things I really like about the podcast is that even though the personalities of the hosts and their chemistry is part of what makes it so fun to listen to, they never get so self indulgent and off track that the podcast becomes about them instead of “Terrace House” and turns into endless hours of nonsense. (I’m looking at you, “Gilmore Guys.”) It’s really telling that when I watch a TH episode I then can’t wait to hear Andrea and Brendan’s take on it—just like wanting to talk to a friend about a show you love. Also, they give me faith in the younger generation with how feminist and “woke” they are (but vert *un*-self-righteously...and now I’m looking at you, “Call Your Girlfriend”). Not like I’m so much older (I’m just at the tail end of Gen X), but still, it’s such a refreshing change from the general zeitgeist when I was their age, only (😂) about 15 years ago. But I do think they should feel free to comment on the TH commentators more—that’s one of the best parts of TH, plus it would be so meta! 😉

N3rdfighterNecessary for all Terrace House fansI loooove this podcast. After I’ve watched all the Terrace House there’s still not enough Terrace House, so hearing them go back through each episode fills my heart. Their friendship is also so funny and goals, I’m happy to just listen to them chat about my favorite house members.
-
Alzar2kBest Terrace House PodcastI’m so darn obsessed with Terrace House, and it’s great to find a podcast with people as excited about me about the show :) I did 20 hours of driving recently and listening to this podcast was the best way to keep me entertained the whole time! Aunt NetteIt's very satisfyingto watch these shows and then hear them dissected on the podcast. The peeks into Japanese culture are especially interesting. Also, because I'm about 120 years older than the housemates, it's useful to have people closer in age to them providing insight. Me: "Just say how you feel, idiot!" Hosts: "This is exactly how we acted when we were 20, too." Me: "OK, fair enough."
-
leannwestin[Clever show reference here]I really enjoy this podcast. I know I’m supposed to tell my friends to watch TH, but no one does. Listening to this show is like watching with friends for me. Also, I picture Andrea as Tsubasa in my head and I love it. Good audio quality, good jokes, nice recap. Just listen already.
-
definitelynotarobotGO GOODThese two good good humans are hilarious and I love listening to them talk about one of the best shows to grace our internets in a long time. Terrace House is wonderful and I love listening to them share their own ideas and experiences with us. It's like finally having friends who will watch and talk about Terrace House with me. 10/10 will listen to all of their episodes again!

liz4rdgur1THESE PEOPLE GOT IT RIGHTSo recently i lost the only friend that watched and discussed terrace house with me due to conflict. I’ve since then resorted to this podcast for post episode discussion and it has more than replaced my losses. Not only are the insights great for looking at the show from a different perspective but also the hosts are the right balance of witty and silly. Thanks for the content and keep it up!
-

MandarinotterThis podcast is great!!I found this podcast after seeing it mentioned on the Terrace House Reddit a few times, and I love it! Brendon and Andrea are wonderful hosts and they make my workday commutes so much more enjoyable. My only question is: when will you guys finish your Boys and Girls in the City podcast?? You only went up to episode 14 - I'd love to hear your thoughts and reactions to the rest of that season!

EJM122191Best Terrace House PodcastBrendon and Andrea have some of the best chemistry I’ve heard on a podcast. It is easy to riff with your friends, but translating that to a listening format for strangers is no small feat. I’d listen to these two talk about Terrace House for forever, or anything for that matter.
-
