I would be delighted to learn that you maybe since studied the AA 12 Traditions and have fixed this issue, but I listened to an episode from 2023 with RFK Jr, and the tradition-breaking was pretty blatant. Here are some examples, RFK brought the AA name into public controversy by talking about vaccine debates surrounding an AA meeting. You both mentioned characteristics of meeting attendees and he mentioned a common last name and ethnicity he finds in meetings (he false called it a “race”). But worst of all is how both of you publicly identify as AA members. The tradition that advises against that is partially meant to protect the fellowship from members’ ambitions. You should thus never use it to build a brand. It is totally fine to talk about spirituality and recovery, but please exhibit some self-control, or else people will identify the program with you, thus you exploit it to grow your brand. I know it is likely not ill-intentioned, but that is what it becomes in reality. We are judged on our actions not our intentions.

As a Head Start preschool teacher, working with little people who are full of untethered wonder, I see and deeply appreciate how Theo has held on to the wonder of the world that makes him such a kind, thoughtful human being. This show is refreshing! Thank you Theo!

I’m funnier than him, and I’m not funny.

I used to enjoy listening to the broad range of people Theo interviewed. It was interesting and he is a decent interviewer. However, over many episodes Theo has said several Antisemitic things based on age old tropes. Before you claim Anti Zionism isn’t antisemitism, it had nothing to do with Zionism. Furthermore, other minorities are allows to define hate against them and Jews should also be given that right as well. It is not up to others to tell us who and what we are. I wanted to give Theo the benefit of the doubt and I have continued to listen hoping he was just woefully uninformed. However, i was incredibly disappointed to see Candace Owens was invited on the show. Since October 7th, she has done nothing but attack Jews. She and many other American celebrities have put us in danger and do not deserve to be humored or platformed. I really wanted to give Theo a chance to get past his bias, but he’s just not going to. Oh well, there are thousands of other podcasts.

I have listened since the inception of this podcast. 5 stars Theo is truly one of a kind. I do wish to see more solo episodes and less frequent interviews in the recent years but still enjoy tuning in to most episodes.

If you can’t tolerate other people’s political views grow up. Learn how to converse.

Great show. Theo cracks me up. I miss the “regular people” shows and don’t care for all the political guests. There’s enough of that on every other outlet.

Today was a dream…two of my favorite podcasters. Candace is fearless and unapologetic. She was dropping so much knowledge on Theo it was going to break the fact checker. Theo was overwhelmed with data but I love that Theo asks questions when he doesn’t know or understand something instead of trying to pretend he gets it, because somewhere out in his audience, he’s helping to educate and inform others by getting explanations.

Absolutely real and honest!! Best podcast on the net!! Go Theo!!
