    Missing audio
I like the show, I listen to every episode. It happens often, that the audio upload is incomplete or has problems. Sometimes parts of it are repeated, sometimes the end of it is cut off. Seems pretty lazy on the transfer and upload of the audio from the YouTube content.

    Great until…
Great podcast I always enjoyed listening until somehow you had to start bringing politics and BIDEN into your show. I listen to this stuff to learn new things about cameras and photography not listen to hear about praising an awful president. Sorry I had to unfollow

    Best Squarespace podcast ever!
This honestly has the best most informative content on squarespace ever! I’ve learned so much about squarespace since I’ve started listening! Occasionally there are some photography tips as well!

    Decent podcast
I really enjoy this podcast I think Tony is really knowledgeable about photography and the equipment. The only thing I don’t like about this podcast is Chelsea unfortunately. Her arguments are weak and comments are annoying. Tony could easily carry this show himself he is honestly the only reason I bother to continue to tune in.

    Absolutely No Content
Listened to one called photography tips we actually use. Not one single tip just non stop babble about what I am not sure.

    Better in podcast form
This is much better in podcast form. Their videos are fine I guess, but they have a major problem: Chelsea is just too attractive. Who can concentrate with those deep soulful eyes, winning smile, and jokes that are never, ever cheesy? By listening to it in audio only, I'm able to maintain my child-like innocence, and spend all my time salivating over expensive camera gear as God intended. A+

    Butt guns
As a new found hobby, photography is one of my favorite topics to talk about but no one else in my circle shares my passion so sitting in on a conversation about it is the next best thing. Chelsea and Tony have great on mic chemistry. Tony offers the more technical info, probably because he wasn’t properly socialized (ep.72 call back). Whereas Chelsea offers a bit of levity. Both have a butt ton of experience and offer great information, insights and perspectives. I feel like we’d be friends in real life. That’s not weird to say, is it? Yeah...I guess it’s kinda weird.

I ran into you on YouTube
I loved your YouTube video. I am always looking to improve how I take photos. You even shown me new features on my primary camera a Nikon D7100.

    Fun and relatable, so important.
If you’re just starting out into the world of photography, pay attention to T and C. They’re relatable, funny, and do their homework. Check their resources like their books and tutorials on YouTube. No I’m not biased, but I started photography 4 years ago with lots of help from Tony and Chelsea and I still listen to them today. I may be more technical then when I first started, but I never grow old of listening to someone I’d personally be friends with in life talk about a skill I love so much. T and C, keep up the great work!

    Great Work!
I really have enjoyed this podcast. Not only did this educate me so much about Photography, but I also appreciate that it goes beyond the basics of operating equipment.

    Intelligent
I’ve been listening to your podcast for a couple years. I’m an adult with a well established portrait business in upstate NY. I appreciate the honesty and the research being done on your behalf. Not being bought by sponsors goes a long way with me. Integrity. The podcasts give the persona of sitting in your living room having a intelligent conversation. With a side order of geeky humor. Would love to meet you folks some day. Should you visit upstate NY, reach out. My wife and I would love to buy you dinner. Thanks for setting the bar..

    Look forward to podcasts
I view each podcast and find them very useful. I have purchased three of their books/classes. I always find something new in their presentations. I have recommended the Northrup podcasts to my camera club.

Best podcast for photography out there
From laid-back reviews of new gadgets, to deep dives into the history of popular camera companies, Chelsea and Tony are fun, funny, and informative. Natural educators and super nice people, Tony and Chelsea's books and videos have been one of the foundational resources for many of the photography classes that I teach. I've learned more about photography from these two than anyone out there. Kudos, and thank you, Northrups!

    Best podcast I've found
Love their delivery & variety of topics! Learning a lot from them. Just go back & start with episode #1.

Top choice for a photography duo
I stumbled across Tony several years ago and have been a viewer/podcast listener since then. Chelsea and Tony are remarkably down to earth and definitely provide a true view and review of gear, and other photography issues. I specifically like the information regarding cameras, lenses, and the comparable products. We all have had issues with traveling and I have enjoyed the travel tips and mistakes not to make. Thanks to both Chelsea and Tony for your work and weekly podcasts.

    Authentic and Approchable Personalities
Love these two! They just seem like down-to-earth people that share their knowledge and experience in a candid manner. The underlying humor between the two makes me chuckle (on the inside). I always look forward to your podcasts!

    Thank you
I am an intermediate level photographer who’s been shooting seriously as s hobby for two years. I recently discovered your podcast and love it! I’ve been binging on past episodes as much as I can. My personal preference would be even more discussion about how someone love me can develop my artistic and creative eye and side as a photographer. Keep up the great work, I love it!

    Amateur Podcast
Tony and Chelsea are OK. They get political, and to the far left, often enough that it gets to be very annoying.
  • Johanna oakes photography
Thank you for the great podcasts
I am new to photography, I am from France and just started my business in Orlando. Your podcasts helped me a lot ! Thank you very much for doing this and keep going!
  • Photography education nirvana!
    Photography education nirvana!
I've taken up photography recently as a new hobby......I quickly found out there's quite a learning curve with this hobby! This podcast has been my new binge! Tony & Chelsea make learning about photography fun & informative. Their chemistry is wonderful & inviting. I find myself giggling a lot while I'm learning. Tony has a great way of explaining very complex content in an easy to understand manner. Chelsea's whitty personality is hysterical & her photos are amazing inspiration to me. I've gone on to buy three of their books (ebook versions) due to this podcast and I've never experienced such well done ebooks! Keep up the excellent content Northrup's!
  • SomeGuyNamedDan
    Absolutely Amazaing!
The Picture This photography podcast is one of the most phenomenal podcasts I've ever come across. Not only do the Northrup's possess an amazing amount of knowledge, but they deliver it in a format that is not at all dull and just lighthearted enough. The content has helped me grow tremendously as a photographer. Furthermore, what makes this podcast unique is that unlike others, it's not watered down with excessive advertisements from the host or third parties. When I first discovered this podcast, I liked it so much that I binge listened to every episode over the course of about 2 months. Then I even listened to some episodes twice! Now I'm reading Stunning Digital Photography by Tony Northrup, and I understand why it's the world's #1 photography book. Tony and Chelsea have a seemingly infinite amount of photography knowledge, and it is fantastic that they are sharing it with the world. You can't go wrong with their content, so try it out and good luck on your journey as a photographer!

    Love it.
Both of them have been instrumental in helping me and many others learn and grow in photography. I can’t say enough about their talent to teach.

Best photography podcast for short and long drive.
Tony and Chelsea are the best. They aren’t just a great photographers, they’re also a very wonderful people. They gave a lot to photography community. They gave free lectures and their opinions about photography on YouTube. Free podcast to listen to help my 3 or 5 hours long drives. Everything nowadays are very expensive, especially for a student like me, struggling with all payment in school and personal life. By listening to this wonderful podcast, help me gaining knowledge about photography without paying anything. ( I mean I did bought a book from them, it’s just because I want to learn more when I’m not listening to podcast). Thanks Chelsea and Tony.

By far the best photography podcast/vidcast online
Even if the only pics you take are with an iPhone 5, this podcast will make you a much better photographer. I rarely write reviews but with a lot of junk out there, this one deserves some notice and is an easy 5 stars.
  • WeeMajesticFingers
    Entertaining & Informative!
I bought the SDP book a couple of years ago & subsequently bought the rest of their books because I enjoyed/learned from that one so much. I love their live Youtube show. I love the podcast. They’re perfect together, as Chelsea brings the educated artistic (& super hilarious one liners. I lol often, Chelsea, thank you) and Tony brings the technical nerdiness. Learning & laughing, what’s better than that? And they both have nice smooth soothing voices. Such a great pairing; I would love to have a couple like this to be friends with irl.
  • LisaPsyched
    Best photo podcast!
I love “Picture This”! After searching many photo podcasts, this is by far my fave. I love the topics, the way they discuss the info, how prepared they are with the topics, how they take turns with the lead, and how sweet they are to each other. Extra bonus: Chelsea’s voice is so soothing and they both seem like genuine people.

    Fun to listen to
The interactions between these to keeps it interesting. Sometimes this podcast isn’t long enough. Because this is about photography you may have to go to YouTube later to see what they are talking about. Unlike other podcasts they don’t cut the video to make you listen to the podcast. Even if you’re not interested in photography the give an interesting perspective on business and history pertaining to photography. I often avoid watching the video so I have something to listen to on my way to work.

    Clickbait Titles
I’ve listened/watched for a while now and enjoyed the content but podcaster-listener trust has been destroyed by deceptive clickbait titles.

    Inspirational!
All their content is TOP notch and they did it all with good old hard work and genuine effort. Tony and Chelsea have built a tremendous brand that I've learned a ton from, and glad to have found them. Their recent '5 Steps to YOUR SUCCESS' podcast (in particular) is really inspiring, great lessons that apply to just about any career + motivate me to get moving with my goal of turning my photo skills into something more....step by step. Thank you Northrups!!

    Amazing Content
When watching Tony & Chelsea on YouTube is not possible I always come to Picture This podcast for my fix.
  • AzureJet
Great for any level of photographer
I have learned so much from their experiences. Great banter and always informative from learning basics to how much to charge for your work. I owe a lot to them for the inspiration they provide.
  • ForzaBiondo
    The best
I love watching their videos on YouTube And it’s even better to be able to listen to them while at work.
  • Leapnlarry
    Long winded sometimes
They have great content but sometimes I wish they would just get to the point and be more concise
  • odysseywoods
    Tony has great info
Tony tries to give his best reviews and advice. My drawback is having to listen to Chelsea. She’s beautiful, but listening to her try to be funny and cute is like scratching on a chalkboard. It’s “literally” this and “literally” that. She rides off of his coattails and years of experience. I tried to listen, but after a few minutes my head hurts.
  • Shakogegia
    Great!
Great info about photography and not only! love this show!
  • Paul from Liquidrive
Must listen podcast for new photographers
If you’re just getting into photography like me then you should listen to this podcast every day. Tony and Chelsea provide great, useful, poignant information and tutorials in a straightforward way that doesn’t annoy me like other photographers’ podcast.
