Al KennyonNot just a coffee podcastI started listening to this podcast because I loved coffee. It has taught me more about business than coffee. They bring in such a great perspective to how to run a business or even a team. I am accountant who oversees a small team and I use insight and strategies from this podcast to help me be a better leader and mentor to my employees. Thanks Chris, Chuck and Jared.

Xan 117You’re back!!So when you guys went on hiatus I was coming back to coffee, I was bummed because I love your approach and vibes you give out!

civic_coastIndy Loves Coffee - <3 Cat & CloudIndy Loves Coffee here from Indianapolis just sending a shoutout to C & C for being authentic, transparent, informative, dialed in, and AWESOME. PurristaStarbucks BaristaAs a barista listening to your podcast gives me hope of opening my own shop. Your openness and vulnerability gives me hope. Thank you and I hope you make more podcasts. I hope one day to visit you!

AjoyzazGrand Of All timeI cannot express how wonderful this podcast is- thank you for putting y’all’s time and efforts into this creation. No longer working in the beautiful world of coffee but I have ever fascination with coffee and nowadays get to listen to Cat and Cloud Podcast while I am landscaping in Montana! Many millions thanks!!!! Woo hoo keep at it.

HallehHewittLove these coffee bros!My husband and I have a dream to open our own coffee shop one day. Since 2015, this podcast has been our go-to for coffee inspiration, and real business talk and knowledgeable CAT FACTS!⚡️ Recently the podcast has gone off the rails wild, but favorite episodes are when the bros share OG business tips and the art of crafting coffee. I hope they bring back some of these! You guys ROCK!

mark00711As a white dude my very existence reinforces white supremacySad to say this podcast has fallen off the rails recently. In a world full of drama and controversy it’s nice to have a place to go where you can get away from it time to time; sports, hobbies, interests, professional growth. Well this podcast is no longer it for me. The recent podcast has been by far the worst example of pure evil racism and I’m not even a “white dude”. Here’s a quote from the most recent podcast, “That was the biggest realization for me too cause I always thought of it as, cool I don’t do racist things, which, clearly not true, because I’m a white dude, and like my very existence is like, you know, reinforcing white supremacy”.
-
NathanHanna=BossInformative & GenuineChris and Jared keep it real and are very knowledgeable in both coffee and business. Thanks Chris and Jared for sharing your passion and knowledge with the world! If you’re someone who is wanting to be a barista or an owner of a coffee shop, I’d especially recommend listening to the earlier episodes of the podcast.

GracieVanRelatable, informative, fun! This crew has the experience in the service industry on every level. Always worth my time to listen to as a business owner. Every episode motivates me and makes me laugh!
-
stop saying LIKE‘Like’ usagePlease tell everyone to limit the amount of ‘like’s used minute. Fun content to listen to but it feels as if I am listening to a teenage girl saying ‘like’ in EVERY sentence in the new episodes. 🤯
-
PapaBearRoasteryLove the podcastI love this podcast. I found this just after deciding to startup a coffee roasting business. It has been extremely formative for me. Best episodes are with Chris and Jared. Everything else is just missing their magic, but still good.

101010Nic101010When cat meets cloud: a love storyBeen listening to this podcast for a little over a year now and thought it was time for a review. These cats are absolutely ridiculous. And don’t even get me started in the clouds. They chase rabbits like it’s their day job and it’s absolutely hilarious. Their content is a blast to listen to and very informative. They discuss topics that a lot of people aren’t talking about in the coffee industry. Their values are on point and their coffee is incredible. Listen. Laugh. Be annoyed.
-
MasterCrackleLove the discussions, love the banter, love the growthThis podcast has evolved so much since its beginning and I love it! The early episodes are great and provide a TON of information regarding coffee and coffee roasting. It quenched all of my coffee nerd needs. As the Cat & Cloud business grew, education and leadership seeped into the podcast. Topics transitioned into personal growth, team structure, employee sustainability, customer service, wholesale development... Whew.. So many great concepts! It's also the raw conversations and the genuine people that make it so good. I love the values this company holds and hope to reflect all I learn from the podcast in my life.
-
azn_baristaThis. Is. Everything. As someone who is working towards owning their own shop/restaurant this podcast is the best. Learning about coffee is great, but learning about management, ownership, and culture is amazing. I’ve gotten a lot of book recs that I can’t wait to read. Highly recommend.

BduckartAmazing beyond dreams! You might be thinking podcasts are all boring, but this one is different. It’s like hanging out with the funniest, most amazing friends for great conversations. They care about you, they care about me and that’s why I listen to the Cat & Cloud podcast!
-
retserb52Construction podcast?Had that confused with a construction podcast was pleasantly surprised when it was actually about coffee
-
Nate SipesLove what they’re doing!Cat and Cloud is doing some really great stuff on this podcast! I so much appreciate all of the vulnerability, humility, experiences, and wisdom. They look at so many important things from such great perspectives. Love listening!
-
erSheriNot just coffee!Great meaningful podcast listening. Nice to get a so to speak mission statement behind this small local business. Intelligent dialogue and topics. I am still shocked about the ongoing lawsuit against this them by Caterpillar. Much respect for these guys.
-
Ash WolffYou need these dudes in your ears!Real talk, just started listening this morning and have been listening all day. Chris and Jared are real talk. Don’t be fooled, it’s not just about coffee. Honestly it’s barely about coffee lol? Mainly about business, relationships in life and work, authenticity and passion in what you do. A reminder that your day to day is your choice and whatever you chose to do do it with fire and make it epic🤙🏼
-
ekaratcaNot just coffee talkI work for a super small company and we are all pretty invested in seeing growing independent-ish brands thrive. I always get some motivation, insight, and good vibes from this podcast. (Plus the coffee is the ish so gotta love that the content is as good as the product). 👍

Dizzle916Amazing podcast!I found Cat and Cloud via YouTube about two years ago just by chance! I’m a bit of a geek when it comes to my interests and I tend to dive deep into every one 100%! My wanting to know every in and out usually leads me to YouTube for as much info as possible. Coffee became a passion of mine after having an amazing coffee stout beer and my wanting to know what the hell kind of coffee did I just drink in an amazing beer and how could I find that coffee for my day to day! How could coffee taste so good when I’ve been trained to think it’s either gas station coffee or trendy big market white and green cup coffee. That being said I came across Chris Baca’s page and instantly was drawn in not only by the content but how well the content was put together! From info to editing and he was just F’n Rad! I was an instant fanboy! Then finding out Cat and Cloud was located in Santa Cruz, a 2 hour trip from my home in Sacramento it became more apparent this would be a company not only I would support but one I would evangelize for even from hundreds of miles away. The podcast has been a must for me not only for coffee info but business and overall opening my mind to how important networking and being a better person! I can’t even begin to give this podcast enough stars!
-
VicThe3rdYou need some of this pod in your life!My goal with this review is to make the amazing folks at Cat and Cloud smile! But seriously this podcast is so much more than a coffee podcast and I highly recommend you supporting this pod and people behind it by listening and subscribing!
-
seanzylatteI’m here for the business talkI worked in specialty coffee for a while and that’s what got me here, now that I own a business what keeps me here is the business talk. 5/5 would recommend.
-
Jacob habibMore than coffeeOn the surface, the podcast is about some successful coffee professionals who started a cafe together. The podcast began with a focus on coffee career related issues, but it’s slowly evolved into a professional and personal development theme. On a deeper level, the podcast is run by some personable guys who you want to get inspired by every week. Whether it’s through a podcast or a video, the Cat & Cloud team provides the humanity to business and life that you forgot you needed.
-
flyingrabitTrubacaThank you guys for really keeping it real. For 4 years I was working at a coffee shop in hopes to open my own. Burn out is really and it happened, I was thinking to myself “why I’m I doing this?” And it really came down to connecting with people and helping them grow to a better version of themselves. You guys have shown me that there’s other avenues in life that you can achieve your goals, doesn’t have to be owning a business or having a ton of money. It’s the inner richness is what keeps us going as human beings. And thank you for shining a light on the coffee industry, it’s becoming so cookie cutter and unfulfilling, sure sometimes the product is good but it could be really underwhelming. Cat & Cloud has such a chemistry, even through videos and audios it makes me want to work there. That’s saying something. Keep it real, and one last thing thanks for showing me “The Third Door” *mind blown* I would never heard of Alex Banayan if it wasn’t for you guys. After you guys cheerleading so hard for the book, I was like “alright guess I gotta read this one”, finished it in two weeks. Holy sh*t.

Nomadicsk8erThe Best PodcastOne of my favorite podcasts out there, it always provides honest information and stories about navigating everything in life and business. Highly recommend for anyone interested in creating value based businesses and great story telling.

AaronDMoonEncouraging ContentI met Chris Baca back in 2009. I was working in coffee at the time and stopped by the coffee bar at the (then new) Verve roaster. After a few minutes of chat, Chris invited me back to give me a quick tour of the roaster and upstairs office. We swapped numbers and chatted occasionally after that. What left an impression on me was that he didn’t know me from Adam but was so comfortable and open, making himself available to me, a new coffee student. What I love about this podcast is that Chris caries the same honesty and openness into the show for his audience to dive in and get comfortable right off the bat. I, sadly, am no longer working in coffee but rather leading a company in the financial sector. Even so, this podcast is great for business lessons and professional development! Keep up the great work, guys! I will keep tuning in and drinking C&C coffee! (I am a regular at Calavera Coffee in Hollister) Blessings, Aaron Moon
-
WendiesI Love the Cat and Cloud Coffee Podcast! This is my favorite podcast on the internet. These guys are awesome! The podcast is truly inspiring; hitting on coffee, hospitality, entrepreneurship, creativity, and passion. The podcast world, the coffee industry and generally motivated people everywhere need the Cat and Cloud Coffee Podcast. Thanks Chris,Jared and Chuck for continuing to put this out there!
-
Boomer44sGreat podcastFound this podcast because I’m a coffee nerd but kept listening because of the message they share. Very inspirational host and guest!
-
McjaamesCCC Podcast Weekly Inspo for All ☕️🔥☕️🔥The You are Your Most Valuable Asset episode resonated with me so hard. Since college everyone has told me you have to post, post, post. Now, with proven success stories like Gary Vee, as you mentioned, there's very much a copy/paste mentality in this world. I hate it. So pumped that you hit this. Chris and Jared, whatever you are doing, and whoever you are bringing on, is working. The podcast has become a weekly ritual when I need a reminder to do me, and continue to remember the connective magic of coffee.
-
Music&CoffeeCoffee Nerd to Authentic TeacherI started listening to this podcast when I began to really dig the specialty coffee scene. The show was really captivating to me as a former barista. It became more to me though. I am now a music teacher in my tenth year and I have reflected upon my teaching so much through this show as a lens. TruBaca have really helped me realize that I need to be authentic in my art form and as a leader of young people; all the while appreciating the art of coffee and humanity. I still keep a small pour over area in my office to remind myself of the connection between service and teaching. This show does the same! Totally inspiring!!
-
MOZ585Sweet Bean! This show always takes me back to pan roasted coffee on the beach, and good times in the bouncy tree in Fern Canyon 🤙🏼
-
Stevo868Like coffee? Like leadership? ListenI started listening to these guys only recently but man have they changed the game! I never used to listen to podcasts but I had this desire to learn more about coffee and they delivered! Now they focus more on leadership and business, but their advice is so golden! Keep it up guys 👌🏻
-
Mohio KBest podcast everI was lucky enough to see a presentation from Chris Baca a few years back and it was amazing. As a small biz owner, his openness to talk about his business so honestly has been immensely helpful. I’ve been listening to their podcast ever since and it’s always good. Just listen to it, you’ll be happy you did.
-
5Savages!EnjoyableI enjoy the back and forth banter mixed in with the coffee info. It makes it feel more like hanging with friends.
-
DLiebzAmazingI love this podcast, it is so helpful and has amazing content. Everyone who drinks coffee needs to listen to it.
-
Shane_NeimanFor everyone who loves coffee! The podcast is full of knowledge that ranges from coffee, to business, to personal ethics, fun and so much more. You don’t always know exactly what your going to get, but it is always incredible and well worth the time. Cat and Cloud is doing something special and everyone should them a listen.
-
kylethinks5 stars without F-bombsLove listening to the in-depth info about espresso, etc. I was enjoying the podcast with my family until the f-bombs.
-
Katie Joy B.Coffee & CharismaChris and Jared are hilarious and wildly entertaining to say the least. They've done what I thought was impossible; made coffee even better. Evelyn is fun and engaging on her 1&1's too :) Thanks for creating such a wonderful show guys - keep up the great work!
-
aussmoWaaayyy more than coffee...This podcast has slowly made its way to the top of my All Time Fav Things to Hear list; the more comfortable these guys get putting themselves (and their guests)out in public format, with this podcast and also YouTube, the more I look forward to each new episode. They are goofy-in-the-head passionate about the coffee business, but the true beauty of this podcast is their insights into people and relationships, especially as business owners. I have more than once taken little gems they throw out there about how to do right by their staff and their customers and applied them to my own management style. While sipping an espresso, obvi 😁☕️ I work in an industry commmpleeetely different than coffee, and their approach to people and community has proven universally beneficial. Thanks you guys, for the refreshingly unique approach to all you do - you are a change the world has been needing!!
-
jmcc1401The bomb-diggityOne of the best podcasts I’ve listened to. Akin to Joe Rogan minus the sometimes controversial aspects paired perfectly with an in depth look inside their coffee flavored realm. Job well done.
-
OblivijimFun For the Whole FamilyWow
-
BaileelawPerfect for new coffee entrepreneursAs a co-owner of a budding cafe and roaster attempting to grow my business this podcast has been invaluable to me because of the transparency that Cat and Cloud offers about the industry. My favorite and most useful episode so far has been “creating sustainable careers in coffee” which breaks down what it takes to make it in this crazy world. I’ve listened to it multiple times and taken physical notes because it was so helpful. Thank you so much for all you guys do!
-
Kendall19981118This podcast is awesomeOne of my first episodes was the one featuring Grace Lee. She is one of the most relatable and likable people that I have ever listened to. I have listened to this episode twice because she says so many encouraging things!
