Listening to the 9/23 PodCast Washington Explained was a complete waste of time. Your expert Roz Brooks, was not very insightful. Read the paper or watch the news to get better insight. Further, she expressed no opinion nor predictive ability. Lastly, her politics and view point was palpable.

I find PwC’s accounting and reporting podcast very helpful. These podcasts provides very good overview of complex accounting issues and points listeners to resources to get more details on the topic. Heather Horn does an awesome job of hosting these.

Excellent podcast to stay informed as an accounting professional in light of changing guidance and regulations. Appreciate PwC bringing up common areas that companies often forget to consider. Any chance this podcast could turn into credit for CPE?

I’m an accountant and the podcast helps me stay current with new changes and updates in the accounting and finance world. Definitely a great place to start when you’re looking for the hottest accounting issues!

Obviously playing towards the safe route trying to avoid any regulatory infractions however it is not always the most pleasant to listen to. It would be nice to hold in conversations in a more casual way. Strict reading from a script is awkward for both parties. The information is useful if you listen really closely and don’t think about anything else.

I've been a CPA for 10+ years and I love technical accounting. However, this podcast is unbearable. These people are just reading straight out of FASB literature. Hard to follow. Please, just stop. Nobody wants you to read FASB literature, I can do that myself.

They cover all of the important updates, and tell you where you can go for if you want info on some of the more obscure updates that won’t impact a large number of entities. My only feedback is the audio quality could be improved (echos in the room, using phone audio rather than merging audio, etc.)

I subscribe to CFOdirect via email and was hoping for a podcast as well. Looking forward to what will be in store. The topics so far have been interesting and helpful.
