Sarah Smith JonesQ&A went away :-(I used to love this podcast! Erika’s advice was spot on and I felt like I learned something. Now it’s more of a status on Barstool, Interview show (which was always the weakest part), and I don’t get as much Q&A/real world work advice. Sadly unfollowed because I found myself fast forwarding through a lot of the shows.

LizT111Paula Faris interview is a MUST LISTENCalling ALL working moms (seriously, all of us): the interview today with Paula Faris is a MUST LISTEN. It covers everything: burnout, mom guilt, wanting it all and feeling like we are falling short. Do yourself a favor and listen to this amazing conversation. Brava Erika and team for highlighting this critical issue!

Hannah TalsnessUmm noTrying to be something that she’s not, and never will be. Advice stinks

pumba113Just let your guests speak! Can’t even get through one episode
-
AustinAlbrechtGreat guestsThink you’re a little to quick with the “yes” or “yep” while the guest is talking it sounds so hurried but at the same time the quick segments are what I like about it
-
letlospeakWay too many interruptions.Just let the guests speak? Nothing more irritating than hearing “yep” “okay” & just echoing the last words of the speaker & cutting in between every other sentence. Also sounds like she’s rushing through the guest speakers.
-
LenBiasisAliveErika talks over her guests too muchI am anything but the target audience(year old man) but I love Erika and the pod. But I have to say the interview with Pinky Coke was borderline unlistenable with Erika’s constant talking over the guest and answering her own questions. It is a result of Erika’s enthusiasm which is great , but please with the running commentary while guests are answering the questions. Thanks and Viva!

HaliebryceMakes Business ApproachableOne of my favorite podcasts in the rotation. Erika is smart, humble, and gives great practical career advice. I love the addition of the call in show and looking forward to the new show format in 2023.

Adam (J) GreenspanA+ PodcastI am incredibly happy to have found the “Token CEO” podcast. Not only is Erika an industry powerhouse, but her podcast is unique in that it offers a front row seat to the strategic side of of a trailblazing company. What separates this podcast from many is the lessons in leadership that Erika offers to people aspiring to one day sit in a similar seat. To boot, Erika is a likable personality which makes it easy to gravitate to her workplace lessons. Wishing the pod many many more episodes of success!

reneecdaignaultLove the podI started listening to the podcast because I’m familiar with barstool and listen to other podcast. Once I started listening I loved the Q/A plus topics and interviews. Definitely took the advice and applied it to my current company and role in negotiations for promotion and annual review. Also used it to weigh other options I had and if I should pursue.
-

TrustworthyBostoniansOasis in the midst of the stormToken CEO is one of my favorite shows. Actually I only watch this and Dave Portnoy with Eddie. What I like about this show is she gives insights, drops gems and I appreciate the interviews and the behind the scenes brought to these shows. I like nuts & bolts and this is definitely worth an hour a week. There is a method to the madness of Barstool, and this show is an oasis.
-
CK FozBusiness meets pop culture in a podcastI love Erika’s take on business. It’s always informative whether it’s her career advice or how Barstool is doing as a company or what companies are making the news. She’s a great interviewer and always has fun guests with diverse viewpoints.
-
hsjones111111Valuable business pod!Erika shoots ya straight with all of her advice & tips. KISS.
-
TierneyJustinHumble CEOI am a newer listener to the podcast but have really enjoyed it. Erika seems truly authentic in her words. Whether she is talking generally or about a specific situation you can tell at the end of the day the people matter most and that has been a great reminder to see past a certain situation and look into the people who are surrounding it. Great stuff and have got a lot of great ideas for my own company here!
-
MissRisGOpen, Honest and Girl PowerI love that Erika speaks so openly about not only her thoughts on what’s going on in business that’s in the news, but also that she’s so honest about what’s happening inside of Barstool! As a woman in her first 5-10 years of working professionally, I really appreciate having a podcast to listen to from a woman CEO at a company as impactful on modern media as Barstool.
-
zennjennyogaAwesomeErika has such good energy and it’s inspiring for women and men seeking success in all aspects of life! I love listening to her podcast token ceo! I’m a private yoga teacher and personal trainer always curious about ways to evolve and spread my message of well-being.
-
ang0319GratefulThe podcast has a great balance where you get business upper management advice/perspectives and a dose of what’s happening inside Barstool. I feel like Erika is my unofficial work mentor. Every topic is spot on. The advice that is brought to the podcast from a CEO perspective gives a lot of insight on how upper management might be thinking. She and her guests have answered so many career and cooperate questions I’ve had. Great listen!
-
Lindsay CreedGreat insightAs an assistant to the CEO/President of a privately owned company- one that was recently acquired by a public company, I really enjoy listening to Erika’s insight on Barstool’s acquisition with Penn. Erika has great advice for anyone in whatever position they may be in and I love that she seems relatable to every one, no matter their job/title.
-
barlowmbObsessed!Weather you are a small business (like me) or work at a big name company, Erika’s perspective on business is no nonsense and refreshing. If you’re a seasoned stoolie or someone who could care less about Barstool, the inner-workings of Barstool are fascinating! The range of guest Erika has on the show, from Barstool personalities to big time executives, provide a range of topics and fresh views every episode. Def one of my weekly must listen pods! #Viva

Chase71684Thought InducingMost “business experts” talking make me want to vomit. Erika does the exact opposite. Erika is thoughtful and gives practical real world advice the way most people want to hear it! In particular I love when she gets into speaking about sales and revenue generating activities.
-
AmandaWilliamson716Erika walks so we can runLOVE the pod. As someone in media in a midsize market, I love hearing her thoughts (and guests) so I have a broader perspective on advertising and the direction it’s going. Love the honest advice and recognizing that hustle and hard work pays off. A lot of podcasts will focus so much on manifestation and self care routines to improve your productivity when it’s missing the biggest component… the grind. Will forever be a fan. Go Bills. Amanda
-
jrod93Most Underrated PodcastErika’s view on business and insight into what’s going on not only at barstool but at other companies is really cool to see. She has taught me a lot about my own business by listening to her I feel like she has been a mentor that doesn’t know she’s my mentor lol. I would recommend anyone to listen to this podcast and even go back you will get something out of every podcast.
-

Musica manFree business school!Erika uses every minute to inform, react and teach the listener. From current topics and treading business stories to personal moments and situations she’s experienced and how she’s handled them. She never avoids the hot topics and isn’t shy about weighing in either. Being able to get inside the big office and learn from a leader like Erika doesn’t just happen. It’s a rare opportunity and it free! Thanks for the lessons!
-

amelia22davisSmall Business OwnerI recently became the new owner of a successful small business in my hometown. There is an exponential amount of growth possibilities because they’ve been doing everything the same here since the 80’s (I mean everything). Erika’s podcast gives me a lot of insight into how I can be a great leader of the company, and ideas on how to grow.
-
Josett331Insightful!I love this podcast, find it very relatable and insightful. Erika’s advice always plays regardless of the industry you’re in or role within a company. I love the introspective view she gives on what’s going on in the Barstool universe, what’s going on in the media universe and how that applies back to Barstool. Her authenticity is exactly what you’d expect from any other Barstool production.
-
Brittnicole6297Love it!Great podcast for professional advice, even for those not in the business field.
