StartrekstarLive Long and Punch It!Excellent podcast! Tristan and Char have a unique dynamic I’ve loved since TTJ. I enjoyed their episode rewrites before, and now they’ve combined two of my favorite things; writing and pop culture (specifically Star Trek). They do it so well! I have a blast listening to their comments and analysis. Definitely been a morale booster in quarantine. Great job Team Lizard Babies! Much love from a loyal fan 😊

Alicia0511My Favorite Star Trek Podcast.I like this podcast for the same reason that I love Star Trek in general, and that is the positive attitude with which they deliver thier opinions and writing creations. So many podcasts focus on what they like least about the shows that they are supposedly fans of, but Tristan and Char spend more time dwelling on the aspects of the show that they enjoy and then expound on them in thier writing. Their collaborative writing creations are drafted with respect and kindness for each other, and it is entertaining to listen to the process as it happens. I have listened to them from thier time on To The Journey (and also am a huge J/C shipper), and thier creations just seem to get better and better.

Legacy Trek PodTrek Fiction Writer’s Room?Tristan and Char are a great team going back to their “To the Journey” days. Their similar thoughts on a lot of matters make this such an entertaining show! Only criticism is that I get so caught up in their stories, I find myself wanting to see the finished product on screen!

Geeky Teacher RobargeLove It!I've been listening to Tristan & Char since their days on TTJ. These two play off each other so well that it is truly a pleasure listening to them (nearly) every week! I love their knowledge of Star Trek and how they apply it to their various subject matter. Even if I don't agree with all their changes, I do like listening to the rewrites! Keep up with good work, folks!

Andrew Swearingen“Punch It” is a Hit!I can’t believe I haven’t rated this show yet. “Punch It” is a great show, diving deep into the world of Trek, but what really keeps me downloading every week are the two co-Captains of the voyage: Tristan & Char. I’ve been listening to these two talk Trek for a long time. Their chemistry is great and their love for Star Trek, in all its iterations, shines through with every episode. And it’s a blast to hear them go into other regions of nerd-dom like Gilmore Girls, Star Wars, Stranger Things, and much more. Give it listen and buckle up...cause Team Lizard Babies are always gonna Punch It!

AlfeatscatsTrek-PositiveCharlynn and Tristan make shows that can’t be missed. Great conversations about the entire Star Trek universe. Sometimes they replace the weak elements of Star Trek stories with what could have been. Or they may expand on a character or event by creating new material on the fly. They are a great balance to each other. It’s great that they have common viewpoints but also disagree sometimes and that usually leads into a more in-depth look at character motivations or reconstructing a more viable plot. I loved listening to them on their previous show, To The Journey (we Voyager fans must stick together), and was devastated when they moved on last winter, “First Trump, and now my podcast is over? What else?!?!” Seriously though it’s a great team and I’m glad to have followed them over to Punch It. I’m excited to hear new Star Trek perspectives and stories on a podcast that is positive about Star Trek. Also their take on the writing in Discovery. It’s also their fault that I reactivated my twitter account.

JuggerscottFun, Thoughtful AnalysisThe dynamic duo are at it again! Char and Tristan provide interesting opinions and analysis of all of your favorite media with their own fun twist. The ease of dialogue they've developed over their years of podcasting makes them easy and enjoyable to listen to. They make you feel like you're a participant in their friendship and not just a listener. I followed them here from To The Journey and I would gladly follow all of the media they produce.

Mccache33To the Whiteboard! All fans have dreamt up their own episodes and versions of their favorite series. Hosts Tristan and Char (blasphemer against the holy saga, may she be roasted by ewoks and devoured in a banquet honoring their golden god) hit the whiteboard, imagining new episodes of wide ranging series and the results and hilarious and inspiring. The Nerd Party has done it again with another great podcast.

RooWritesI was lost then there was "Punch it"Hi guys! I have loved listening to these guys on To The Journey for years and I'm ecstatic about this new show. I hadn't listened to TTJ for sometime due to the school year, and when I came back I was sincerely worried I'd be relegated to reruns of the hosts delightful discussions. Tristian and Charlynn continue as a dynamic duo on Punch it and I look forward to what's to come.

Danté HopkinsWelcome homeAfter their long journey in the Delta Quadrant as the hosts of To The Journey, Tristan and Char have made it home and can finally focus on not just all of Star Trek, but all of pop culture. This podcast is as much fun as TTJ, and I'm looking forward to more.
-
chrisbcrunchyThanksYou 2 are wonderful together, I do miss you on TTJ, but so happy that you have branched out. Keep it coming.

Guybrush T.I love the new podcast!I got into podcast almost two years ago thanks to Char and Tristan's TTJ. It led me to a number of podcasts including most of Trek.fm and Nerd Party. I absolutely love Punch It and I am glad you guys are going to focus more on Star Trek. But I also enjoy some of the other non-Star Trek topics, namely Bob's Burgers. You guys were so spot on with the characters It felt like I was actually watching an episode of that show. I know it may be a while before you guys do another Bob's Burgers episode but it would be awesome if it could involve Teddy, my favorite character. Keep up the great job guys!

JoethebioteacherYou say goodbye, I say helloWe might have said goodbye to Tristan and Char on "To the Journey", but I loved saying hello to them on Punch It! I'm a huge Star Trek fan, but it's great to hear these two comment on non-trek subjects. They have the same great chemistry as always. If you're looking for a podcast that sounds like you talking with your friends and not like a PBS special, this is the show for you. Great job guys...keep punching it!

17BryanBeyond StarTrekFrom the people who brought us "To The Journey", a Star Trek Voyager podcast, comes another entertaining show. Branching out from Star Trek, Char and Tristan focus on the writing of various facets of Pop Culture. Nice to hear them back in action, and look forward to more journeys.

captsfufpJourney into the UnknownWriting is fun - and listening to Char and Tristan write episodes on the fly is even fun-er (not a word). These two have such creativity and joy that it's always great to listen where they will take their next story.

JD2088Fun and Enjoyable! These guys know their stuff! They're not people that have just watched a couple of episodes of the shows their talking about, they know them backwards! They're funny, they're creative and they're clever. They give you a new perspective on shows you love and give you a renewed love of those shows. Would love to hear a podcast on: 'That 70's Show', 'Futurama', 'She-ra Princess of Power', 'Stargate', 'LOST' or other Star Trek series and movies. Thanks guys! JD

ShawndormanGreat podcast for writersTristan and Char have great passion for the craft of writing, that much is clear. These two are a fantastic pairing and, as a writer, I find their conversations are full of great insights and opinions.

SehenningBack againI love that Char and Tristan are back again. I'm not the biggest Star Trek fan so I didn't listen to every TTJ. But with this show, they talk about so many different things I like. And even if I'm not a fan of what they are talking about, I stay interested. Give it a listen!
-
triddell24You'll love itThis show has been in the works for a long time and I'm so happy to present it to you. You'll love it.

kesseljunkieGreat show, great hosts! The conversations between Char and Tristan are the sort you can tell are natural and easy between two friends who not only speak to each other, but understand. A delightful show.
-
Dr. Sci-FiThe best of Char and TristanYou can tell when someone is truely passionate about something and these two LOVE writing fun stories. I cannot wait to hear what they come up with.
-
mrushing02Pop Culture WritingIt's so important, in any story, that it be well written so Tristan and Char dissect film and TV to see what's good, what's bad and how things could be better. If you love stories, this is the podcast for you.
