Hee Seop ChodeThe BestAs a celebration of the duo’s triumphant return, I must finally make my full and complete recommendation of this program.
-
TeddyDem82Smartest Cubs talkThe guys can be dorky and annoying, and are frequently condescending about emotional fans (versus rational analysts like themselves who never react badly to losses), but they know their stuff and provide very smart insight and predictions.
-
Al.Shein.92So much potential but not closeThis could be the best Cubs podcast out there but they don't really talk Cubs. I understand that they want to breach out to other topics but there are other podcasts for that. Stick to Baseball!
-
NCgolfer21Great stuff, but PLEASEGet into the meat of things quicker. Nobody listens in to hear about your kids or your diets! Maybe you could spend 10 minutes beforehand catching each other up on that stuff and then start the show........
-
Steve578667665This is a 5-star reviewGreat Cubs podcast. Funny. And good at building suspense, when they go 3 weeks between episodes. Congrats, Brett and family!
-
CastrodanGo CubsGreat episode.

btomaszewskiVery FunThis is probably my favorite Cubs-related podcast. The audio quality isn’t perfect and sometimes the guys get a little off-topic if you’re strictly looking for a baseball show, but I think that they’re both very entertaining and you can tell that they know what they’re talking about. This is a must for Cubs fans.
-
NlongfieldBaseball… and miscellanyThis is a great podcast where two guys deal with pets and kids in the background, have great discussions of social justice issues (women/cultural awareness) and also give a great mix of fan and writer/analyst mix of thoughts about baseball. You like the Cubs, listen to it. It may make you a better person as well as a better fan

Nick12234556Maybe the best worst podcast everI can't say this is the worst podcast ever, as I haven't listen to them all. However, this is the worst podcast that I look forward to every week. Anyone who lives their life between serious meetings and conversations, yet longs for the pointless banter between friends should listen to this podcast. If you happen to like the Cubs that wouldn't hurt either. Sahadev and Brett should offer a fantasy camp for listeners to sit on the phone with them and add to the, occasionally on-topic, conversation.

Kevdav123456789You already read the blogs everyday, why not listen too!?My favorite cubs podcast. Plenty of great cubs content plus some laughter and screwing around! Only wish they'd make more episodes. Plus who doesn't want to learn the history of box socials?

Graham wheatDidn't forget to subscribe, rate, and reviewIn between random middle aged male talk you'll find the best Cubs podcast around. I'm thankful BP allowed these guys to continue the show on their platform. Always look forward to new episodes and can't wait for the upcoming baseball season.

ScottSwartzMeatballs, beware!Lots of great things to enjoy about this podcast: the guys are really knowledgable, they don't suffer fools (meatballs), they don't take themselves or their content too seriously, and they seem to genuinely enjoy each other and what they get to do. Additional bonuses: a SIGNIFICANT increase in cursing over the old "Bleacher Nation" podcast, and the fact that Sahadev's frequent giggling is freakin' ADORABLE.

jcwillia1Best content, worst audioFirst the good - this is hands down the best Cubs podcast on the Internet. Brett and Sahadev regularly exhibit extremely enjoyable banter about all things, Cubs related and otherwise. Now the bad - Sahadev's microphone is regularly set to "ear splitting" while Brett frequently sounds like he's talking to a crappy webcam with fraying wires. I find myself wincing at the extremes of the recording levels at least three times per show, mostly whenever Brett says something under his breath and then Sahadev scares me half to death with his incredibly loud reply. Love the content, hate the audio. But for the love of all things Cubbies, please keep doing this podcast.

Manu (ManuclearBomb)The Natalie Dormer of Baseball PodcastsBest podcast despite minimal thrones content. Brett touched my boob once and he liked it.

Duntronic'Verve' is a noun in pretty much every context.Kowledgeable fans talking about the Cubs in a pretty relaxed manner. I will drop it to one star if a Whirlyball event is not organized soon.
-
SB_Cubs5NiceOf all the Cubs podcasts available, I can honestly say this is one of them. Also maybe rated E for explicitly awesome.

Great Cubbie banterGreat but Sahadev should self-deprecateBrett's the leader of the internet's foremost cubs blog, and has a great relationship with Sahadev and they genuinely enjoy each other. Sahadev is a smart dude, but that seems to be the point he's trying to make. He "remembers game(s) vividly" then botches the score, pitcher and moments. He'll often slam #CubsTwitter or meatball fans for being wrong and reactionary as though he is above that. But it's good cause he's never wrong. He's so smart. When Jake Arrieta struggled, Sahadev saw him do pilates and knew he would not wear down in the playoffs. Can't wait for an exciting 2016 which Sahadev will no doubt have seen coming from a miiiiile away. Praise be to Sahadev.

davidt aka lipitorkidIf David Lynch Created A Baseball Podcast, This Would Be ItYou know that one David Lynch film? No, not the one with Isabella Rossellini and Laura Dern. No, not the other one with Laura Dern…. It’s the one with the guy on the lawnmower… The Straight Story. That’s what Limited Range is like. Each podcast seems like a long journey on a slow moving lawnmower and yet you can’t wipe that smile off your face and you can’t figure out why a podcast about the Cubs, a team you don’t even follow, can be so enjoyable. But it is. My favorite part is whenever they have this young beat writer, they call him Clark, yell out something random and then someone pretends to be Clark’s understanding father and gives him a friendly word or two. It’s like that one part in Dune, if Dune had taken place On Golden Pond. It’s a strange journey. And I can’t get enough of it.
-
Matt ElyA most requisite Cubs podcastTwo adult men discuss a children's game played by adult men with acuity, insight, and verve. They're the dynamic duo of the Cubs blogosphere, and ignoring this gem of a production is sure to bring shame on your house.
-
.carlosEBest Baseball Podcast I’ve heard. This is a fantastic baseball podcast that does a terrific job of bridging the gap between analysis and commentary. Must listen for all Cubs fans, but any baseball fan would get a lot out of it. It also helps that the hosts are not poop heads.
-
RizzOMGMust ListenThis is hands down the best blend of nerd talk, a bit of excellent Cubs analysis, and occasional guest appearances by upset children and/or house cats!
-
KjharaldsExcellentGreat pod for Cubs fans. Brett and Sahadev form an important part of the Cubs community. Their analysis has become crucial supplement to the way I follow the team. Also, Sahadev has, conservatively, around 12 children and 30 dogs, all of whom have been on the podcast while he's recording.

App Person 66Glowing 5 Star ReviewFirst off, I have not been shamed or bribed into creating this glowing 5 star review in any way. Here are a few things I know about this podcast: 1. This podcast is located in the professional category on iTunes, so you know you are getting some seriously professional insight 2. Can you really get Cubs and Star Wars talk in even ONE episode of Serial? Yeah, didn't think so 3. These guys had a podcast called "The Bleacher Nation Podcast" that stopped at episode 49. I can only assume they got so tired of the paparazzi tracking their every move, that they needed to assume the name of an entirely new podcast 4. Some say the MLB playoffs are a crapshoot. I say your life is a crapshoot unless you give this podcast a try 5. Brett is not a poopy head So come one, come all. This is living, my friends. This is Limited Range.

Tommy Gun timeSweet Sweet PodcastingAs a former listener of the Bleacher Nation podcast, I was unsure what to expect from Limited Range. Would we get months off between episodes? Would they ever stay on topic? Well let me tell you what. When Brett “I can’t take a normal picture” Taylor and Sahadev “Really, you’re drinking a Bud Light?” Sharma get together, the result is some sweet, sweet podcasting. It’s like you’re listening to a couple of your friends talking about the Cubs, if your friends were a lot smarter and much uglier. They still don’t stay on topic and is it really too much to ask to get a podcast out the exact minute I want to listen to it, but it’s definitely the best Cubs podcast around. Now a little haiku to show how much I really do love this podcast: Sahadev and Brett Talking about the Cubbies Is heaven to me Sincerely, Everyone’s favorite friend Tommy (FCT) PS you jerks better read this next week
-
Paul HuschFun Cubs talkThese guys don't take themselves too seriously while talking about the Cubs (and whatever else happens to run through Brett's head). I have been following their work on baseball prospectus and blearchernation for a while, they are both really good at what they do and they present everything in an entertaining way.

Kipp BrocailleGreat Cubs PodcastIf you love Star Wars, shouting children, and occasional discussions about the Chicago Cubs, you will absolutely LOVE this podcast. Brett and Sahadev’s ability to integrate Cubs talk into discussions about Star Wars, peppered with sporadic parenting dialogue in a manner that is unmatched in today's society. In all seriousness, this is a great podcast. I enjoy listening to Brett and Sahadev's conversations. Listening to the podcast is like sitting in on to two old friends’ very well informed conversation about my favorite team. I look forward to the release of each new podcast to hear their opinions about recent Cubs news and other completely random tangents.
-
Swise23StellarIf you like tangents, this is the podcast for you. Brett and Sahadev frequently venture down topics of middling interest to their listeners, but for some reason it seems to be working well for them. JK, it's the cat's pajamas.
-
PattinoGreat Cubs Podcast!Sahadev can't ask an understandable press conference question, but him and Brett put on a great podcast! I truly do enjoy when their conversations drift in other directions such as Star Wars or Math. Go Cubs!
-
1etoyListen if you like fun things, don't if you don'tSahadev and Brett have very intelligent insights into the Cubs and baseball in general. I personally love the random tangents and off topic conversation because it makes me genuinely laugh out loud (sometimes) and makes it fun as opposed to just them talking about what they know. I look forward to the episodes and kinda wish there were more, but also think the frequency is good to keep me wanting more. Last thing: thirty episodes in and no guests (that I can remember) and I vote you keep it that way. Thanks for what you do guys! Edit: I reviewed this 12/14 and want to be included in you reading them on your podcast, hence this addition.

h. vaughnDouble Plus GoodHere we have the sine qua non of Cubcasts. Brett Taylor, a kept man/au pair, cheerfully defends Theo Epstein's imaginary future actions then contracts whiplash changing positions when the great man does the opposite (so long, Starlin!). Sahadev Sharma, a charmingly smug cub reporter with a penchant for sticking his Florsheim in his mouth at press conferences, generously tells us what we are allowed and not allowed to think about our favorite ball club. Geek banter? 10 reasons to adore John Lackey? Gratuitous F-bombs? Step right up!
-
DFultzSahardev is my porn name too.Great show, the guys mostly stay on task, they are smarter than any of the Chicago radio guys. Glad to hear rational baseball discussion and reaction to Cubs news.
-
sth749This is a good showI like the way they talk about stuff.

TvonthewOne of the best...Obviously this is not a podcast for everyone, but for Cubs fans, it is a wonderful place to catch-up on the day-to-day headlines of the team, as well as in-depth understanding of player value and advanced metrics. The hosts are both very likable people who keep the conversation light and their personalities are displayed with an emphasis on keeping the flow while branching outside of baseball. The best part of the show is its upbeat nature. Many media outlets talking about the Cubs get bogged down in the silliness of curses and a losing tradition. While Sahadev and Brett allow themselves to emote on the team every once in a while, the focus remains on the team, the transactions, and the outcomes. A must listen for any Cubs fans, especially those needing an outlet that appreciates how exciting this team is year-long.
-
Drew_HGreat Cubs PodcastPerfect mix of informative, speculative, and delightfully random.
-
Abraham LevitanGreat content, pretty good executionBrett and Sahadev, I love your work, and I love hearing you talk Cubs. The audio issues (balance between the two of you, lack of compression, etc.) can be distracting, but you joke about these on a regular basis, so I know t’s already on your radar.
-
Manntastic 42Is goodThis is good if you like saved by the bell and are a seriously bored and have time to kill
-
MrHoneywoodThankful for these guysI have been listening to Brett and Sahadev talk about the Cubs as much as I enjoy reading their takes on the Cubs. They absolutely give baseball fans a meat sandwich of valuable analytics information and occasional hilarities of being young dads loving the kids' game. It was disappointing when their previous podcast ended, so I'm glad they are back at it. As a Cubs fan of similar "vintage" as these two, I can relate to a lot of their stories about growing up rooting for the lovable losers even now that they're lovable winners.
-
tvbonaGreat baseball podcast for fans of any teamNot a Cubs fan (though my wife is), and really enjoy this for its balance of baseball thoroughness and fun banter. Hosts have great rapport, and I learn something each week. Check it out.

res8323ListenerTwo of the best thinkers about baseball.
-
jkgm925Insightful and hilariousI only discovered this podcast a month or so ago, but found he episodes are so consistently funny, insightful, and in line with my own thoughts and feelings about the Cubs that I went back and listened to all the back episodes from the beginning of the season in a matter of a few days. Brett and Sahadev write some of the most intelligent commentary and analysis on the Cubs that I have found anywhere, and this podcast really complements that great work. Highly recommended to anyone who loves the Cubs, seeks to understand baseball beyond the surface level, and enjoys a good laugh.
-
Monkeyboy_81Great podcastMy favorite Cubs podcast. Love the analysis and banter.
-
JPerryCubs baseball and life talk. Nothing better.A very informal yet insightful discussion of the Cubs every week. Great work from these two. There is a lot of banter about them as individuals which is great and makes you appreciate their hard work even more.
-
Javy's Jaw GuardBest Cubs PodGoofy, funny and informative. Right up my alley!

LauraKPWHERE ARE THE HOT TAKES?!!!No here. And that's great. I'm a person who loves listening to people talk about sports- especially baseball- but hates the HOTTEST OF HOT TAKES Skip Bayless-ization of sports talk shows. Limited Range is a must-listen for Cubs fans who prefer thoughtful, data-driven analysis that you'd expect from the Baseball Prospectus team. Keep it up, guys!
-
Kyle_BosExcellentGreat mix of hilarious banter and excellent Cubs analysis. Two great baseball minds. Keep it up guys!
-
BN SquadExcellent Cubs analysis, great personalityIf you're reading this, Bryant homered again (probably). These guys are both incredibly smart and discerning Cubs fans and analysts, and they seem to have fun recording these. If you're not a reader of Bleacher Nation or Wrigleyville, you may not enjoy all the personal chatter, but this is a great podcast with great character and I love the banter and analysis mix. Keep up the good work y'all
