Relevant Q&A in a timely fashion
Grateful for the insight from this podcast. I only wish it was around several years ago when we first kicked off our church plant. Nevertheless, seems like these questions and topics are ongoing for us "older" church plants as well. Thanks guys and keep the insight coming!

    Amazing Podcast
This was, I think, the first podcast I've ever subscribed to. I look forward to each episode. I learn more and more about helping my church become more focused on multiplication! Daniel, Todd and Ed do a fantastic job of answering questions with humor, truth, scripture, and their experience. If you are interested in multiplying the message of the Gospel in your area and around the world, listen to this podcast!

    Great podcast-at double speed
Every episode is quick but full of applicable material. Just started listening and beginning from podcast #1. For church leaders, it’s worth your time. If you’re busy, do like me by listening at double speed! Honestly, I had to listen to Daniel & Ed at double speed.

    Much love from Brooklyn NY!
Started listening regularly this month and I love it. I’m a church planter in Brooklyn NY. I listen now in my car on the way to work and on my drive home (bi-vocational). It’s something I look forward to. Thanks!

    Perfect for a future Planter
As a college kid taking my 15 minute walks to class, this is exactly what i need to take little things here and there to keep in the back pocket for when I'm ready to go!

    Encouragement in every episode
I love this podcast and the hearts of these three guys! Each time I listen, I gain more understanding in leading the people God has given me. This podcast is different from others, in that, they go to great lengths to make sure each size and type of church pastor has something he/she can take away in order become a better equipped leader in the local church setting. Thanks guys!

The topics conversations and challenges that the team address our vital things for every leader of a church to consider and the strategies that are discussed on this podcast are super helpful for implementing within a new church, church campus or church planting environment. Thank you Todd, Daniel and Ed for your investment and God bless.

The Joy and Fun in Church Multiplication
An endless source of well-informed data combined with intelligent fun. Multiplying churches is serious work that is also seriously fun because of the passion. Thank you guys for informing me and entertaining me, all for the Kingdom.

    Thankful for New Churches
I love the work of new churches.com and Lifeway Leadership! This show provides practical insights and is always biblically solid. I love the Q&A format so if you have a question check out Newchurches.com and tell your friends, tell your dad, tell your mom!

    Encouraging, practical, and entertaining!
I’m a young church planter and this podcast is pure gold for me! I wish I had found it earlier. I was introduced to Daniel through his book “No Silver Bullets” (which I would highly recommend) and it’s awesome to hear more insights like that on a regular basis. It also helps that you’ll find yourself cracking up at the conversations between all 3 guys. They make a great combination. Be sure to subscribe, you’ll be glad you did.

    A must-listen for church planters
This podcast is an incredible resource for church planters. Not only can you ask questions and actually get them answered, but you will learn a ton form other people's questions. But wait, there's more...it is also fun to listen to.

I have no idea how I only recently discovered this podcast, but I’m glad I know about it now! Definitely a fantastic resource on church planting! The episodes answer so many of the questions I want to ask and even the questions I wouldn’t know to ask, but should ask. Thanks guys!

    Best Church Planting Podcast
I explored a number of church planting podcasts, and this one stands apart from the crowd. The hosts are knowledgeable, thoughtful, and relatable. They love to joke around, yet they also love to share insights. The show synthesizes the knowledge of three different backgrounds. I love the podcast length. These guys are opening my eyes to the church planting world!

    Best podcast on church planting
This podcast has served as an incredible tool to engage in a dialog on church planting. As someone who feels lead by God to plant yet lost as to where to start this podcast has been a God send. I would highly recommend this to anyone planting a new church or re-planting an existing church. I can’t recommend this enough. In regards to episode 266: Todd has a strong case to better utilize the churches money to invest in ministries and set an example to the congregation what servanthood looks like to the congregation. A perfect example of how each episode engages the listener into a deeper conversation on ideas for Church planting and leadership.

    The BEST podcast for churches
This really is the best podcast for churches period regardless of whether or not your church is new. This is true for 3 reasons: 1. Short 15 minutes of actionable content. 2. Q and A format makes it more bite size and targeted. 3. Ed interrupts Daniels intro. Whether you wear a tie or tie dye “no fear” shirt you will grow as a pastor, planter and church leader by listening to this podcast.

    Exactly as advertised!
This podcast (and its accompanying website) describes itself as an online hub for church multiplication and that’s exactly what it is. Daniel, Ed, and Todd answer church multiplication questions with knowledgeable, engaging, and often funny conversation. I personally love the fact that each episode is only 10–15 minutes long. Even if a question is not on my radar I can still take a few minutes of drive time to learn something helpful. Keep up the great work guys!

    Extremely Informative and Entertaining
I stumbled upon the 5LQ podcast and then New Churches from there. For someone who is transitioning into ministry in their early 30’s from the secular workforce, I learn so much from Daniel, Ed, Todd, and Eric. They make me laugh every episode, but also come with a lot of wisdom and depth in their answers. It has been a blessing to have all both the 5LQ and New Churches Podcasts as part of my personal growth tool belt. And on a side note, in the battle of episode 266, I have to go with Todd as the winner. His argument of sacrifice and stewardship was too strong!

    Timely podcast, endless resources.
This podcast is full of useful material and short enough to listen to on the go. But don't let the shortness of the podcast fool you, the resources mentioned in the podcast and included in the show notes provide an endless amout of information for new church plants, multi-sites, and established churches alike. Also, Todd Adkins won the debate in 266. He provided quite an argument for defending a side he didn't necessarily want!

    New Churches FTW
As a seminary student who feels called to Urban Church Planting, I can honestly say that the New Churches Podcast has been more beneficial for me than just about any other resource (Besides “Five Silver Bullets” of course 😉). One of my favorite episodes so far has been Episode 266. This was a very interactive episode that really helped me think through the logistics of Bi-Vocational Ministry. Although he put up a good fight, in the ninth round, Todd Adkins lost to Daniel Im by TKO. *cue Eye of the Tiger*

    A week without New Churches....
I do not go a week without listening to this podcast. Daniel, Todd, and Ed are a wealth of knowledge. They have fun doing what they do ( listen to episode 266 and here Todd beat Daniel in the showdown of Full-time vs Bivocational as he points out that by being a bivo pastor you can demonstrate servant leadership 😁). Seriously, if you are a church planter or a church leader, this podcast is a smorgasbord of info for you to grow and learn from.

    NewChurches for Established Churches
I know that this podcast is focused towards church planting; however, I have found some of the material to be incredibly helpful for established churches (or, in our case, a church plant that is now 9 years old). Plus, this is one of the more fun podcasts to listen to that also offers actionable and practical advice. Oh, by the way, Daniel won the debate in episode 266.

    I love this podcast
Daniel, Ed, and Todd provide great insights in to furthering the mission and vision of your church. Regardless of whether you are considering to plant, recently planted, an established church or multi site church, this podcast will help you grow your ministry.

I’ve been studying and researching church planting for years spending thousands of hours reading, meeting, talking, listening , thinking, and praying about church planting. This is by far one of the greatest tools in the world to help Church Planters without exaggeration.

    Pastor, River City Church
Daniel, Ed, and Todd know what they're talking about and the 15 minute format is a perfect length of time for learning the basics of church planting. This is definitely THE podcast out there when it comes to church planting & multi-site which is why I've listened to nearly all of the 200+ episodes so far. Highly recommended!

I really appreciate the eclectic range of topics covered on this podcast. I have gleaned a lot of great insight listening in on each episode. The conversational format is also fun. Great Information
Not only am I writing a great review for free SWAG, but also because this is a great podcast. In a short amount of time Daniel, Tod, and that other guy . . . um Ed, give quality content to church planters who are in stages from pre-launch to post-multiplication. Keep up the good work.

    Fun, Informative & Quick
I've really enjoyed listening to these guys share their heart for church planting. They keep of fun, but don't miss the important content that helps expand my understanding of church planting. I love that they take questions from the listeners so you know what's going on in the field. I definitely look forward to hearing them each morning.

    Great Resource, but ...
I listen to every podcast, and really learn a lot from their wisdom and experience ... and i recommend this to all my pastor and planting friends ... BUT ... when i'm not driving, i try to move it to minute 2 or 3 immediately ... i so wish the preamble could be cut short to 30sec or less. Sometimes, 5 minutes in, it's still silly comments about accents and canadians and being "savage" ... if it wasnt for that, i would easily give it 5 star! all that being said - i still listen every week - just wish they could get to the point quicker!

    This podcast is epic!
As a pastor with a church planter heart, I love this podcast! Not only is the banter enjoyable but the information is also something that is usable. The information that is shared is not always something that has to be cookie-cutter but the principles can be utilized in many different manners and settings. Thank you for all you do and all you share! You make being "Jesus in skin" fun!

Incredible REZOURCE for every Christian ministry leader...
New Churches Q & A Podcast is not only a great podcast for church planters and multisite leaders, but something to put in every Christian leader's rotation. The podcast is entertaining, informative, biblical, and real. Daniel, Todd, and Ed bring great insight that will stretch your methodologies and inform your planning processes. If you're a planter, multisite leader, or leading in ministry, add this to your podcast list!
  • Momoneymoreproblems
    It's okay, could be better.
I love the work they do, but half of it is inside jokes, or joking about random stuff, or just friends chatting and messing around. Nothing wrong with that but out of 10-15 mins, 4/5 is off topic and I find myself needing to skip ahead constantly. Pick out the specific topics and listen, and keep your finger on the skip ahead icon, and you'll benefit.
